Chapter 2 - Chapter 2: Meeting Wan and Raava

Avatar World – 9850 Years Before Aang Was Released from the Ice

I opened my eyes about fifteen minutes ago, and damn, I was mesmerized. The beauty of this world, specifically the Spirit World, was on another level. That's where I am right now.

The first thing I did was glance around, hoping a system screen would pop up to show me my abilities. You know, the classic OP isekai stuff. But… nothing. Not even a ding. That almost sent me into panic mode.

Then suddenly, bam, I felt a surge in my head. Knowledge just flooded in like a damn waterfall. All the techniques from Lookism, the copy technique, invincible attack, even Gapryong's so-called "Power of Friendship." I had it all. And the craziest part? I didn't need to train. It felt like I had already mastered everything. I knew every concept, every detail behind each move like I'd been studying it my whole life.

That sh*t got me giggling like a kid. I scanned the area and found a nearby tree. Dropped into a CQC stance, and in a flash, I exploded from my spot. The next second, I was standing in front of the tree… or what was left of it. Nearly half of it was gone.

"That was so fucking cool," I whispered, eyes practically sparkling with stars.

I was just about to test out the other techniques when suddenly, I felt it. A massive suction force pulled at me, and I'm not gonna lie, I was terrified for a second. But as I got closer to the source, I realized what it was.

It was the scene: Wan bonding with Raava, just before sealing Vaatu.

I got dragged in with Raava, completely unnoticed by either of them. Somehow, I slipped right into Wan's body. I ended up in this special subconscious space, almost like a little mental apartment made just for me. From there, I watched as Wan and Raava sealed Vaatu.

Not gonna lie… it felt epic seeing it all from Wan's perspective.

After the fight ended, I decided it was time to make my presence known. Raava and Wan were both shocked. At first, they thought I was Vaatu pulling some weird trick. But I managed to fool them into thinking I was an ancient, wise spirit who got accidentally bound to Wan during the merge.

Raava was suspicious of me from the start, and rightfully so. But Wan? I don't know if he was just that chill or low-key gullible, but he seemed fine with two spirits chilling in his body. Like, damn, doesn't this guy want any privacy?

Anyway, I rolled with it. I only taught Wan one technique from Lookism, Yamazaki's Aikido. Figured that was safe and practical. As time passed, we built a bond. Slowly but surely, trust formed between the three of us.

Then Wan died during a great war.

I couldn't interfere. As much as it hurt, that was the moment he was meant to die. If I had stepped in, it would've broken the cycle—and I would've been erased. The Avatar cycle had to continue for me to survive.

Over the centuries and countless Avatar cycles, I lost a lot of good friends. The Avatars, every one of them felt like family. But when they died, for some reason, even as a spirit, I couldn't contact them again. They were just... gone.

Raava, on the other hand, gradually lost her ability to communicate with the Avatars. She'd had the strongest bond with Wan, which is probably why she could speak with him at all. But with me, she never lost that connection. Over time, we developed a solid relationship, respectful, and even friendly.

As for the Avatars that followed, I continued to gain a new technique from a different universe with each cycle. Some I shared like with Kyoshi. Instead of letting her hunt down the secret to immortality, I gave her a technique that made her practically immortal… at least until the moment she had to die.

Truth be told, I was really just waiting for Aang's story to begin. That was the one I actually knew well—the one I could really have fun with. The others? I barely knew anything, which led to a lot of mistakes.

Like the time I allowed one of the Avatars to teach the Body Flicker technique to a "friend" of theirs… who turned out to be a power-hungry bastard. Luckily, he was too greedy to share the knowledge, so we took him out before he could upset the balance of the world

Yeah… that was a close one :)
