Chapter 23: Unexpected Friendship
Felicia and Chad sat together, a comfortable silence passing between them.
"Remember that time we tried to convince Ursula that auto-tune was a new kind of ancient magic?" Chad chuckled.
"Oh my gosh, the look on her face! She almost believed us," Felicia laughed.
"Almost. But hey, it made for a great story, right?" Chad responded.
Felicia nodded, a warm feeling spreading through her chest. She picked up a pencil, sketching rapidly in her notebook. "You know, I'm really grateful for this, Chad. For the friendship, for the laughs, for the… sparkly tutu-wearing llama."
"The feeling's entirely mutual, Felicia," Chad said, playfully bumping her shoulder with his. "Here's to many more absurd adventures and ridiculous projects. And llamas." They both laughed, the sound echoing in the cozy room.
Chapter 24: Grandma Ursula's Digital Magic
Moonlight spilled through a dusty attic window, illuminating cobwebs and forgotten treasures. Felicia sat on a worn armchair, surrounded by stacks of old books and antique computer parts. Grandma Ursula, a tiny woman with bright eyes and a mischievous grin, sat opposite her, knitting furiously.
"Grandma, I still can't believe you managed to hack into the algorithm and expose the fake followers," Felicia exclaimed.
"My dear, a little digital magic never hurt anyone," Ursula replied, winking. "Besides, those bots were ruining the authenticity of the internet. It was a public service, really."
"But... you could have gotten into serious trouble," Felicia pointed out.
"Nonsense, child. A little chaos is good for the soul," Ursula chuckled.
