The streets were stained red with blood.
Burnt buses, crumbling buildings, screaming people —
everything testified to the devastation.
And then — they appeared.
Monsters.
Their bodies still held the deceptive outline of humans,
but inside... they had become something else.
Some had jaws torn wide into monstrous maws,
others had arms that hardened into steel-like blades.

Morning.
The first rays of sunlight glimmered off the training hall's floor.
Children stood lined up in their martial arts uniforms, faces brimming with energy and excitement.
Teacher (laughing warmly):
"Today's match — Om versus Shiv!"
The entire class erupted in cheers.
The kids clapped excitedly.
Om and Shiv stepped toward each other,
faces full of confidence and the glint of friendship.
They wore their gloves, tied their belts,
and bowed respectfully to each other.
The sparring match began —
Shiv tried quick punches.
Om dodged and landed a swift low kick.
Shiv countered with a spinning move.
In the background, Kashyap and other kids shouted in excitement.
Teacher (smiling):
"That's the spirit — respect and determination!"
The air was alive with positivity.
Somewhere in the distance, a bird chirped.
Everything seemed normal.

An unnatural scream pierced the air —
not human, not animal.

Without informing anyone, Om, Shiv, and Kashyap silently slipped through the door.

Dhruv was descending toward the lobby,
each step feeling heavier, the air growing colder —
as if something unseen was watching.
Then...
A shadow zipped past him like lightning.
Dhruv froze in place.
Then —
a heavy, wet thud echoed.
Cautiously, Dhruv peeked around a corner —
and what he saw made his breath catch.
Near the washroom door lay a man —
his skull crushed with a single blow.
Blood pooled across the lobby floor.
The creature's body was twisted —
as if its bones had been fused wrong.
Its skin appeared scorched, like it had been splashed with chemicals.
The monster sniffed the air...
and its eyes locked onto Dhruv.
Dhruv (thinking internally):
"I have to run... now..."
But before he could step back —
another monster entered the lobby.
Its arms had transformed into spear-like limbs.
Its mouth gaped open, revealing three layers of sharp teeth.
Both monsters now glared at Dhruv.
Dhruv's eyes caught a fire extinguisher tucked into a corner.
Without thinking, he grabbed it —
and smashed it against the fire alarm button.
[Alarm blaring!]
A loud siren wailed throughout the building.
Sprinklers activated.
As water poured over the monsters —
they shrieked in pain.
Steam rose from their skin —
as if acid had touched them.
Dhruv (thinking in shock):
"Water... or maybe a chemical reaction? Maybe this is their weakness!"
But now, the monsters weren't just in pain.
They were furious.
Dhruv sprinted toward the stairs —
behind him, the monsters' shrieks echoed.

Scene: Om | By the Window
Inside the classroom,
water from the sprinklers still dripped steadily.
The children huddled close, terror etched into every face.
Om slowly rose to his feet.
His heart pounded,
each step pulling him closer toward something unseen, something terrifying.
He walked toward a classroom window.
And outside...
It was like looking into hell itself.
Burning buses at the street corners.
Crumpled cars.
Ash and smoke billowing in the air.
Corpses scattered like broken dolls.
Far away —
a monster hoisted a man by the throat,
as if he were a toy.
Om's eyes caught movement.
A little girl...
Tugging desperately at her mother's hand, crying out.
Little girl (crying, broken voice):
"Mama... Mama... please... get up..."
But the mother's body didn't move.
Her face was marked with gashes, her eyes open — but lifeless.
And then...
A monster grabbed the little girl's arm —
and yanked her away into the darkness.
For Om, everything moved in slow motion.
His throat dried up.
A tear welled up and slid down his cheek.
Om (in a cold whisper to himself):
"The world... it's truly ending..."
Behind him, Kashyap and Shiv also gathered at the window.
And when they saw the scene —
the three of them just stood there.
Silent.
Only the screams echoed in the air outside.
