"Why did you show me this, just to prove your point?" Aang asked.
"Yes of course" Akira said "I leaded a few battles and gave plenty of people a second chance. Most of them just returned to stab me again!"
"Yeah but not everyone! If even one of them stopped their violence then it was worth it!" Aang said furioulsy strong gusts of wind started to circle in the room.
"In an ideal world it would be but the rest of them continued to slaughter and pillage taking tens if not hundreds more lives just because I spared one that would have changed his ways?" Akira said and for some reason Aang stilled and then calmed down, his tattos stopping to glow.
"Mabye you are right..." he said weakly before he started to cry again and Katara rushed to comfort him.
Akira just smiled a bit. Yes he would slowly corrupt this little overpowered bald monster.
Sokka just shot him glares but he ignored him.
They then were allowed to stay in a small barn where they could spend the night.
An hour or so later Katara told them proudly how Haru saved an old man from a collapsing mine.
"See Akira, one can do good things whithout violence" Aang said and Akira layed down.
"And Haru will pay the price for that" he said cryptically and fell asleep.
They were then woken up by Katara who stormed inside the barn.
"They took Haru! Firebesoliders took him away in the night" she said and Akira just looked at her with a I told you so expression.
"We need to save him!" Katara insisted.
"And how do you want to do that?" Sokka asked "We have no Idea where they brought him"
"The firebenders will bring me to him" Katara said.
"And why should they do that? Even fire nation soliders aren't that dumb" Sokka said.
"Because they will arrest me because of earthbending" Katara said.
Everything played out as in the movies with Katara getting arrested and Aang, Sokka and Akira following her on the back of Appa.
So after the twelve hours of Katara were over they stealthily landed and went to wake up Katara.
"Katara what are you doing, we need to go!" Sokka said.
"I can't just abandon the people here! There has to be something we could do" Katara said.
"How about killing the soliders and just walking out of here?" Akira asked innocently as if he was talking about the weather.
"No we won't murder them!" Aang said.
"What do you think happens if we free them? They'll just come back and imprision them again" Akira said irritated.
"But killing is wrong!" Aang insisted.
"Fine, you don't need to do it I can handle this alone anyways" Akira said and walked to the middle of the prison.
"Is he crazy? What the fuck are you doing?" Sokka asked.
Akira ignored him and channeled lightning to his fingertips "I'm done playing around" he said and aimed at one of the watchtowers.
Pale blue light illuminates the whole prision and the watchtower exploded with the suprised screams of the soliders.
Immediately afterwards alarms sounded from the whole prision.
Akira just smiled and pointed his hand at another watchtower this time testing out his new combustion technique.
A small nearly visible beam shot towards the watchtower and exploding in a giant ball of flames and smoke.
"What are you doing? You are killing them!" Aang screamed.
"Of course I just said so" Akira said "you think they would have second thoughts about killing me? What do you expect me to do you dumb bastard invite them to a cup of tea and talk it out?"
Aang just stayed silent.
"Thought so" Akira said and blew up another watchtower with his lightning.
"There are the introduders!" a solider shouted pointing at them.
The prision area was now swarmed with fire nation soliders and fearful prisoners who had no idea what was going on.
Akira gathered a ball of flames in his hand and created a wave of flames that rolled over the soliders burning them to cinders.
The smell of burnt flesh filled the air and everyone stared at Akira in shock.
The soliders were looking at him with horror and the prisoners confused and also fearful.
"You must have heard of me I am Akira, the banished prince of the fire nation. Now surrender or die" he said coldly looking at the fire nation soliders his eyes starting to glow red.
"Kill him!" the leader shouted and a few brave soliders rushed at him into their death.
With a flick of his hand they were electrocuted to death and fell down smoking from the heat.
"Anyone else" Akira asked with an innocent expression.
Weapons clattered to the ground and the leader came to him bowing "Please don't kill me, I'll do anything you want" he said and Akira just took a spear that lied on the ground and slowly drove it into the chest of the guard.
"Anything? Then die!" he said and pierced his heart.
He then pointed his finger at the gate and blowed it up with a big explosion.
"Everyone! Your captors are dead and the walls between your home and family are teared down! You are now free!" he shouted and the prisoners cheered loudly for him.
"I now know why they call him prince of rebellion" Sokka said in awe.
"All those people are dead because of him..." Aang said looking at the corpses of the fire nation soliders.
"They deserved it" Sokka said cheering with the others.
Katara just placed a hand on Aangs shoulder who just closed his eyes "I know" he said more to himself than someone else.
"Thank you young man, I will do my best to repay this dept someday" one of the prisoners said bowing to him followed by the others.
Akira just raised his hands and everyone quieted down.
"You must have suffered a lot all those years" Akira said said "for now, return to your families and have a good rest"
Of course he plans to recruit them for the rebellion later but that could wait.
First they should return to their families and have a peaceful rest.
Together they boarded the ships of the soliders and drove towards the coast.
Akira looked back at the prision complex and raised his right hand.
A small beam shot out and a second later the whole prision exploded, falling apart.
Everyone besides Katara and Aang were cheering loudly.
Akira looked at the depressed Aang in frustration. 'Dumb airhead' he thought and went away.
