After a long time they finally reached Burnis City.
Their trip was easy and not. At least it was much easier than any of Vacuse's usual trips. Apart from Blood Spike, two more groups attacked them on their way with the aim of killing Vacuse Vorrakyn, but they all failed.
From the three hundred Soulbearers on the carriage, six lost their lives due to the fight, bringing their numbers to two hundred and ninety-four.
Vacuse himself did not have to lift a finger and only watched as his guards fought.
But finally, they saw Burnis City.
The city was a sprawling one of rusted roofs and tall, round buildings.
There were three eye-catching things that could be seen almost immediately.
The first was a tall pole that ended in a large flapping flag of the Vorrakyn Dragon. The flag was taller than the tallest buildings and seemed to have some enchantments that drew the eyes immediately.
