Synopsis
In a world ruled by logic, lit by screens, and chained to routine, he was just a boy. Quiet. Kind. Ordinary. He lived without magic. Without power. Without anyone who truly saw him. Until one lie destroyed everything. Accused of stalking a girl he barely knew, cornered by classmates who never cared to ask why—he was beaten, broken, and left to die. The girl said nothing. Not even a whisper of truth. Bloodied and limping, he made it home… and took his final breath, alone. But death was not the end. Somewhere beyond the veil, a voice called to him—a god no longer worshipped, bound in silence, craving a king. “Do you seek revenge?” “…No.” “Then what do you want?” “…To never be powerless again.” And so, he was reborn.

Chapter 1 - AUTHOR’S THOUGHTS – BEFORE YOU READ, BELIEVE IT! (Wait no, just read it.)

OI!!!

Yeah, you! The one scrolling like you're dodging kunai made of plot twists!

Before you dive into this shadowy, overpowered, dragon-ruling madness of a story, let me yell at you for a minute—with love, of course.

This story wasn't supposed to exist.

No, seriously. This is what we call a "Plot Ambush Jutsu."

---

See, I was just minding my business…

Finishing Arc 2 of Looping Time like a boss.

Struggling to find the next chapter of The Incursed One like a dramatic anime character staring out a rainy window whispering, "Why won't inspiration come back from the store…?"

And then…

BOOM.

New story idea dropkicked my brain through a brick wall.

Dragons. Forests. A lonely overpowered dude casually ruling a kingdom like it's no big deal.

I blacked out for 10 minutes and when I opened my eyes, I was already typing the prologue with the intensity of someone defusing a bomb made of words.

---

I had a pen in my hand.

I dramatically tossed it across the room like it betrayed my ancestors.

Then I grabbed my phone, opened the writing app, and said:

> "Welp. Guess I'm writing a whole new story now."

Like a normal person… who's also definitely losing his sanity.

---

Meanwhile, my other novels were like:

Looping Time: "Author, focus. We're almost at the climax."

The Incursed One: "HELLO?! I'm at Chapter 8. You left me on a cliffhanger like some forgotten side character!"

Me: "Shhhh. The shadows are calling. And they brought dragons."

Also me: starts typing with the force of a thousand screaming anime openings.

---

So now I'm writing The Thorne Carved in Shadows

A story I never planned. Never outlined. Never even named properly until like 10 seconds ago.

But it's got:

A forest no one survives

A throne made of sheer edge and loneliness

A main character so overpowered, even the sky probably has performance anxiety around him

And best part?

He didn't earn his power by grinding or fate—

He just asked a god like, "Yo, gimme that King of Hell title," and the god was like, "Aight."

PEAK. POWER. MOVE.

---

So yeah.

This story happened because I was supposed to write two other novels…

But instead, I tripped and fell face-first into a plot hole and landed here.

Now I'm writing THREE NOVELS like I'm training for the "World's Most Mentally Unstable Author Olympics."

No regrets. Only chaos.

So if you came here for OP characters, world-shattering secrets, beast armies, drama so thick you could slice it with a cursed blade—

then grab your snacks, your soul, and maybe a dragon buddy.

We're heading straight into the shadows.

And trust me...

THIS STORY IS GONNA BE FIRE.

(Even if it burns my sleep schedule into ashes.)

— The Author, who still owes updates to two novels but decided to write a whole new kingdom instead
