The next day, I went to the flower shop to buy some blooms. When I saw Zhichen's shop was closed, I knocked on the door. After a moment, he opened it and called out, "Liang?"
When he saw me, he blinked in surprise. "Oh—Liang's sister! What are you doing here?"
"I came to buy some flowers," I replied.
He panicked a little and said, "Sorry~ I'm actually closed today."
I tilted my head. "Then why are you panicking?"
Zhichen sighed and scratched the back of his head. "Come in," he said.
Curious, I stepped inside — only to find the entire shop in the middle of a transformation. He was decorating it with flowers.
"Zhichen," I asked, "why are you decorating your place like this? Is something special happening?"
He smiled nervously. "Qin… I'm going to propose to Liang today. That's why I'm decorating everything."
I was stunned, then quickly grinned. "Finally! If you hadn't done it now, I swear Liang would've proposed to you in a few days."
He laughed shyly.
"Don't worry," I told him. "You focus on the decorations. I'll bring Liang to your shop. And congrats in advance — I'm sure your proposal will be glorious!"
I bought some flowers and left, already buzzing with excitement.

That afternoon, I went to Liang's house and called her outside. Her mother peeked through the door curiously.
Liang stepped out. "Qin? Why are you calling me outside? Why not just come in?"
I pretended to panic. "Liang! I went to Zhichen's shop and the door was closed. I knocked, but he didn't answer. I think something's wrong!"
She turned pale. "What?" She rushed inside, grabbed her phone, and ran off toward his house.
Liang's mother, having overheard us, called me inside. "Qin, come in."
As I entered, she asked, "Who is Zhichen? Why did Liang run off like that?"
I smiled. "Auntie, you don't know? Liang's in love."
Her eyes widened. "What? With who?"
"His name is Zhichen. He's a professional horticulturist, and he studied in our college."
She blinked. "Then why was she panicking?"
I chuckled. "Because her fated man is about to propose. I just helped him set it all up."
Her mother nudged me playfully, and we both laughed.

Meanwhile, Liang arrived at Zhichen's shop and pushed the door open. It was dark. Not a single light was on.
"Zhichen?" she called.
Suddenly, the lights turned on — and before she could react, Zhichen appeared behind her and gently covered her eyes.
"Zhichen! What are you doing?" she asked, startled.
"Just follow me," he whispered.
Her heart was pounding, and he looked equally nervous. He blindfolded her and gently took her hand, leading her somewhere inside the shop. They stopped after a few moments.
Zhichen let go of her hand and slowly removed the blindfold. Her eyes took a moment to adjust to the light. When she blinked, she gasped.
She was standing in the middle of a breathtakingly decorated garden. Flowers of every color surrounded her — it felt as if she were at the heart of a floral wonderland. Her eyes welled up with tears.
Zhichen gently tapped her shoulder. When she turned around, he placed a handmade flower crown on her head.
She burst into tears and covered her mouth with both hands — behind him, the wall was adorned with flowers, forming a message:
"Liang — My Saviour ~ Will You Be My Saviour Forever?"
She stood speechless, her eyes scanning the romantic display. Zhichen cupped her cheeks and turned her to face him again.
"Liang, I love you."
"When you first walked into my shop, I saw you as just a customer. But when you started openly flirting, I began falling for you without even realizing it."
"Your little phrases like 'our garden' and 'our house' — every time I heard them, my heart pounded. It felt like you had taken over my heart completely. I was confused… unsure if my feelings were real."
"But then, you came on my birthday… and you made my dream come true. That moment made everything clear. You're the one fate brought to me."
Zhichen slowly knelt and held out a ring — crafted from delicate flowers.
"Liang, will you give me the chance to love you?"
Tears streamed down Liang's face. She laughed through her sobs and nodded. "Yes."
Zhichen gently slid the ring onto her finger, stood up, and embraced her.
She held him tightly and whispered, "Chen… I didn't know you were this sweet with your words."
He leaned back and grinned. "After meeting you, I became the king of cheesy lines — just like you, Liang."
She gave him a playful slap on the chest. "When did you do all this? And the flowers — how long have you been planning?"
Zhichen smiled. "I've been working on this for three days. I was terrified you'd find out. If you had, all my effort would've gone to waste."
Liang hugged him again. "Chen, I love you. Thank you… for doing all this. It's beautiful." Then she leaned in and gave him a quick kiss on the cheek.
Zhichen turned red like a shy little boy and let out a soft chuckle.
