I leaned back, slapped his chest lightly, and walked toward the sofa.
Lu blinked, confused. "Now what happened, Qin~~?"
I crossed my arms and turned to him with a pout. "You didn't even tell me you were coming today! Not even a single dot from you these last two months. Do you know how worried I was? I even tried booking a flight to Germany!"
Lu chuckled nervously. "Qin, I wanted to surprise you! Look, I even brought you a bunch of gifts~~"
I gave him an annoyed glare and turned away, sitting with my back to him.
He sighed, then walked over and wrapped his arms around me from behind. "I came all the way to see you after two years… and this is how my future wife greets me?"
I didn't even flinch.
Still hugging me, he whispered, "Can you forgive me? I'll do whatever you say."
I finally turned back to look at him and smiled. "Fine… I'll make you breakfast. Go freshen up."
But as I got up to walk away, Lu pulled me down again and snuggled into my arms like a sleepy puppy.
