Chapter 13 - Chapter 13 {Money Is God}

Ye Shufen stared at Arwen, taken aback by her sudden change in demeanor. One moment she was defiant, the next she was smiling brightly, her eyes sparkling with interest. It was a stark contrast to her earlier anger, and it caught him off guard.

"A... a hotpot," he said, still processing her sudden shift.

"I want a hotpot for lunch."

Arwen nodded, her smile widening.

"50,000 grand for a hotpot? You drive a hard bargain, Ye Shufen."

She hopped off his lap, already heading towards the kitchen.

"And don't think this means I'm your personal chef from now on," she called over her shoulder.

"I'm just doing this for the money."

Ye Shufen watched her go, a strange feeling settling in his chest.

"Like money."

Arwen put her hands together.

"Who doesn't like money? Money is food, money is god!" Arwen said but actually in truth Arwen doesn't care about money it's just she needs to make sure her grandmother who is at the best hospital in New York City gets the best treatment plus her little brother who has been in and out of hospital so if she earns this just by making food that's fine with her.

Ye Shufen frowned, sensing there was more to Arwen's sudden acceptance of his offer than met the eye. But he pushed the thought aside, focusing instead on the present.

"Good," he said, standing and straightening his suit.

"I expect the hotpot to be ready in an hour. And it had better be worth the price."

Arwen rolled her eyes, already pulling ingredients from the fridge.

"Don't worry, your highness. I know what I'm doing."

As she began to prepare the meal, Arwen's mind wandered to her family back home. Her grandmother's frail form, her little brother's pale face. The money from this meal would go a long way in ensuring they received the best care.

She shook her head, pushing the thoughts aside. She couldn't afford to dwell on what she couldn't change. For now, she would focus on the task at hand, and pray that Ye Shufen would keep his word.

And so, Arwen cooked, pouring her heart and soul into the meal, unaware of the storm that was brewing around her.

An hour later, Arwen placed the hotpot on the table, the aroma of spices and broth filling the air. Ye Shufen entered the dining room, his eyes widening as he took in the sight.

"It smells... good," he admitted grudgingly.

Arwen smirked, taking her seat across from him.

"Of course it does. I'm a excellent cook."

Ye Shufen sat, picking up his chopsticks. He dipped them into the pot, retrieving a slice of beef and some vegetables. He popped it into his mouth, his expression unreadable.

For a moment, there was silence. Then, Ye Shufen spoke.

"It's... delicious some what," he said, his voice low. Arwen was getting used to this she felt so exhausted.

Ye Shufen stood up and picked Arwen sat her down next to her and she groaned but she eat her food at well after she was finished 50,000 dollars was transferred into her account and she transferred it to her parents. She closed her eyes and she fall asleep while she laid her head on the table. Ye Shufen touched Arwen long black hair as his eye darken.

Ye Shufen stared at Arwen's sleeping form, his heart pounding in his chest. He couldn't deny the attraction he felt towards her, the way her beauty both captivated and frustrated him. He gently brushed a strand of hair from her face, his touch lingering.

"Arwen," he whispered, his voice barely audible.

"You're a mystery, a puzzle I can't solve."

He leaned in closer, his lips hovering just above hers. He wanted to kiss her, to claim her as his own. But something held him back, a flicker of doubt in the back of his mind.

Instead, he scooped her up into his arms, carrying her towards his bedroom. He laid down with her and he fall asleep.

Arwen stirred in her sleep, her subconscious mind registering the warmth and comfort of Ye Shufen's embrace. She snuggled closer, her face buried in his chest. For a moment, she forgot where she was, forgot the circumstances that had brought her to this point.

She dreamed of home, of her family, of a life untouched by the darkness that now surrounded her. She dreamed of freedom, of choice, of a love that was pure and unconditional.

As the sun began to set, casting a warm glow through the bedroom window, Arwen's eyes fluttered open. She found herself staring into Ye Shufen's face, his eyes still closed in sleep. For a fleeting moment, she saw him not as her captor, but as a man, vulnerable and human.

But the moment passed, and reality came crashing back. She was a prisoner, a pawn in his game. And she would not forget it, no matter how tempting it might be to do so.

She carefully extracted herself from his arms, but Ye Shufen opened his eyes and pinned Arwen on the bed and kissed her his hands traveled down Arwen body who struggled.

Arwen gasped, her eyes widening as Ye Shufen's lips crashed against hers. She struggled against his grip, her hands pushing against his chest, but he was too strong. His hands roamed her body, igniting a fire within her that she couldn't ignore.

"Ye Shufen," she gasped, breaking the kiss.

"Stop. Please."

But he didn't listen. His lips trailed down her neck, his teeth grazing her skin. Arwen shuddered, her body betraying her even as her mind screamed in protest.

"You're mine," Ye Shufen growled, his voice husky with desire.

"Say it. Say you're mine."

Arwen bit her lip, tears pricking at the corners of her eyes. She couldn't give him what he wanted, couldn't surrender to him completely. But as his touch continued to ignite her senses, she felt her resolve weakening.

"No," she whispered, her voice barely audible.

Ye Shufen spread Arwen legs open. Arwen whimpered.

Arwen's body trembled as Ye Shufen positioned himself between her legs. She turned her head to the side, her eyes squeezing shut, tears streaming down her face. She couldn't bear to look at him, to see the desire etched on his face as he took what he wanted from her.

"Look at me," Ye Shufen demanded, his voice rough with emotion.

"Look at me while I claim you."

Arwen shook her head, her teeth digging into her lower lip. She wouldn't give him the satisfaction, wouldn't let him see the pain and humiliation in her eyes.

But Ye Shufen was relentless. He gripped her chin, forcing her to face him. His eyes bored into hers, intense and unyielding.

"Why won't you look at me?" he growled, his frustration evident.

"Why..?" Arwen asked she felt so much force between her legs tears streamed down.
