I won't be getting used to the after-daze of having pictures of me taken by the paparazzi anytime soon.
If it wasn't for Desmond being there and holding me in place with a hug, I know I would have left after the second snap, which felt like a hundred flashlights had flooded my face.
"You okay?"
I nod, letting him kiss my forehead and pat my head. His chest is forever my comfort place. It's just the right amount of squishy and rigid. If my breasts were even slightly small, then he would have been the one carrying us. That's how big it is.
"The flashlights are blinding aren't they?" Desmond attempts to soothe me again.
"Yeah, they're like flood lights but pinched into a camera. I think if it were one I could handle it well though, but twenty and above? Jesus, are they trying to make us go blind?"
