When Thor was impaled by Belasco, Captain America was the first to shout, "Avengers, Assemble!" and the Avengers and X-Men all launched their attack.
"Only Thor's and Illyana's attacks can damage Belasco. Everyone, cover them! Avoid close contact!"
After blocking a stream of dark magic fired by Belasco with his shield, the Captain issued an urgent command. Cyclops immediately fired a beam at Belasco, while Logan lunged toward him. However, Belasco merely suspended his shield in mid-air, snapped his fingers, and created a reflective mirror surface.
In an instant, Cyclops's beam was refracted and magnified into countless rays by the mirrored prism, blasting towards everyone. The jaded Doctor Strange immediately opened a portal, teleporting all the rays onto the massive demon currently battling the Hulk. At the same time, Belasco allowed Wolverine's adamantium claws to plunge into his back.
"A part of your soul is missing. You used it to forge a knife. You really should have brought it." Belasco said, without turning his head, as he extended his palm to block Colossus's punch. He then gently twisted, breaking the Russian mutant's hand, and added to Logan, "Also, filling your body with metal is a really bad idea."

A golden portal instantly opened. Illyana, wielding the Soulsword, launched a jumping strike at Belasco, but the next second, Belasco appeared behind Illyana without warning. A rapier, distinctly different from her massive greatsword, pierced Illyana's body, sending her tumbling to the ground.

The Soulsword has no physical attack properties, so it passed directly through the shield and struck the Captain's soul.
Captain America gritted his teeth and grabbed Belasco's hand. Belasco scoffed, preparing to finish him off. At this moment, Blade crashed into Belasco, forcefully staggering him two steps.
Doctor Strange had been observing the changes on the battlefield, then looked at his jaded counterpart: "All defensive spells are up to you. How long can you maintain them?"
"You, you, you're serious?"
