After two days in a coma, Arold woke up lying on a hospital stretcher, with some bandages on his face. They wouldn't stay there for long—just until the bleeding stopped. The blow to the young man's head had definitely been very strong, but he had finally been treated.
— Finally, you woke up. That was one hell of a hit, huh, Arold?
That voice belonged to his older brother, Kura, who was looking at him with a mix of concern and even pride, for having fought back instead of running away like a crying baby. Soon after, the director walked into the hospital room, sounding both excited and irritated:
— Hey, you troublesome kids, come with me for an interrogation!
He grabbed both boys by the collar of their shirts, dragging them to the interrogation room. The walk was relatively long, and they were escorted by some soldiers to prevent the assassin from attacking the brothers again.
When they arrived in the room, they were placed on two chairs, while Director Glatzköpfiger Regisseur sat in the chair opposite them. He then took two cigars out of his pocket and lit them both, smoking as he spoke:
— Here's the deal: you troublemakers giving me headaches, I want each of you to tell me exactly what you saw during those attacks!
His voice echoed through the room, making the boys pale with fear. Just knowing they were causing trouble for the bald director terrified them. The man then grabbed his baton and pointed it at Kura, signaling that he was to speak first.
— Well… to start, I found a blonde hair. I thought it was Itadaki's since he dyed his hair a while ago, but it turned out to belong to someone completely different and from outside the base. When I was attacked in the bathroom after finding that hair, I saw a strange symbol on his right arm—like some kind of box or capsule. It also looked like his arm was somehow grafted or attached unnaturally to that body, like someone who had gotten in the bath after Arold. Also, he seems to have some kind of super strength and super speed.
After he finished speaking, the director pointed the baton toward the young, long-haired Arold, waiting for him to recount what happened.
— Well, before I was attacked by that assassin, I was talking to Aki about Itadaki, mentioning how his hair kept changing to blonde. I noticed the same thing about his arm when I fought back during our fight. I also saw he has super strength and super regeneration, since I destroyed his head and left arm, and they came back with no problem.
After hearing both accounts, the director noted the main points. Then he turned on the small TV in the room and calmly said, as if all the pieces of a huge puzzle had just fit together:
— Well, brothers, I recommend you call Aki and his sister Ali to this room, because the real assassin will probably come after them next.
He then played footage showing the assassin entering the bath. Of course, this shocked the brothers, and many questions popped into their heads: "How does he have those abilities if his power isn't focused on that?" and "How can this bastard act so normally after killing those people?"
Without hesitation, Kura ran out of the room, sprinting while locating the being by his heartbeat. The director shouted orders for the soldiers to bring Aki and Ali to where Kura was running. Arold obviously followed his brother at full speed.
When they arrived, Kura stared the being down with total contempt. Then he loudly demanded:
— Got something to say, you fucking killer? Or should I call you… Itadaki?!
