Chapter 1 - CH 00 – Survivors (Part 01)

There is no effect without a cause, the law of causality is universal and structurally binding. Words are prayers, while action is an attempt to make it happen. A step towards the coveted hope.

Individual Correction. The perfection of being is an illusion, as disability is a component to becoming better.

The key to Survivability is not strength or intelligence, but the level of adaptation to accept change and embrace it. The willingness to change.

Immortality is the pinnacle of societal breakdown, a condition where people are unable to sacrifice the old hierarchical order for a better change.

It can lead to prolonged stagnation, regression and the collapse of society.

Causality, perfection and eternity. Trinity to maintain the continuity of human existence as a living being, the key to structuring the ecosystem for the perfection of Aeons (Life Forms) and Daath (Knowledge Forms).

The culmination of all the universe's irregularities, the Single Singularity- Altair Solus.

Something they have always yearned for is just an illusion. Immortality is the key to destruction, perfection is the stagnant point to decline, and causality is the law that binds them in absolute decrees.

However, the concept only applies to living creatures. It was binding within a limited scope, patented by their Aeons and Daath.

At the moment when humanity witnessed the divine manifestation, they all fell into despair. Stunned and surrendered, surrendering and submitting to reality.

The fact that they were but tiny creatures in this universe, no more noble than ants crawling over the soil and trees. Fragile and very weak, yet powerful and possessed of firm conviction.

Unfortunately, humanity is not a fearless swarm of ants. They cannot afford to risk their lives for the Queen, they do not want to work without getting equal pay.

As social creatures, humans have many flaws. When they are allowed to live in a prosperous ecosystem, those flaws will flourish and corrupt society from within. Quickly turning utopia into dystopia.

That's why, when the time comes, they can't do anything about it. Just staring at their approaching death, they fell into despair and gave up.

Blaming each other and running away, choosing to pass on their knowledge and wait for the next opportunity. Ending Phase One with a crushing defeat.

Right at the end of the 21st century, humanity left Earth and began the Space Age. Traveling through space, exploring millions of light years away.

The Spaceport Mother Ship Cluster, Bahtera-

Using dozens of nuclear reactor-powered space ships, humanity turned the page on their new civilization. Seeking sanctuary in a corner of the universe.

It is unclear why humanity left Earth, the archives discussing the matter having been destroyed by the predecessors. Other than the first generation of people, no one knew about why they started the Space Age.

The second generation of Ark only heard stories about Earth from their parents. No physical records remained, even the digital data related to the planet had been erased from the Space Mother Ship Cluster's data network.

By the time the third generation was born and raised, the existence of the planet was beginning to be doubted. Almost no one talked about it, and even children began to think of Earth as a fairy tale. A fantasy place that was too good to be true.

Just as the fourth generation was entering adulthood, the Gregorian calendar system, which had reached its 24th century, was replaced by the Ark calendar.

The calendar was calculated based on the movement of the Ark Fleet, away from the Sagittarius constellation stream and away from the center of the Milky Way galaxy. Moving towards the Andromeda galaxy as if to escape from something.

The Space Age was not easy for them. Although technology had developed rapidly out of necessity, space was not a hospitable place for mankind.

In the first century after the implementation of the Ark calendar, humanity managed to kidnap a dwarf planet and take it out of orbit. It was used as a stronghold and an artificial center of gravity, and then began the project of unifying aircraft carriers.

Entering the second century of the Ark calendar, the unification project was successfully completed to its fullest. A wandering planet was created, consisting of dozens of mother ships held together using a dwarf planet.

The place had a fairly stable ecosystem, an even population density, and an orderly society.

Although the government system tends to be monarchical and the top of the hierarchy is held by researchers, freedom of speech is still well maintained. The form of order that was built was based on common interests.

In the middle of the second century, they changed the priority of seeking asylum to prosperity. Slightly altering the trajectory of the Ark of the dwarf planets, it moved towards one of the solar systems at the end of the Milky Way galaxy.

In the third century, they arrived at an extreme solar system and began mining. It had a dark red sun as its center of gravity, was nearly extinguished and was surrounded by fifteen closely spaced planets.

Unfortunately, the extreme solar system had no habitable planets, the sky was filled with asteroids, and there were frequent cosmic dust storms in space.

Some planets are constantly showered with meteors, eroded by gas storms until they shrink in size, then explode when their cores are exposed to starlight.

Although it's called mining, the resources they collect are not metals. The Ark simply approaches the frozen planet in this extreme corner of the solar system, drops anchor and begins collecting water reserves.

Most of the water is used to cool nuclear reactors, while the mineral content is used as fertilizer.

The fertile soil will be used as new farmland, providing additional food sources. This was part of the Ark's prosperity project.

Entering the middle of the third century, the size of the mined ice planet began to shrink. The sun's gravitational influence on the extreme center of the solar system began to weaken, causing it to drift further away and experience a significant drop in temperature.

Seizing the moment, the final phase of the mineral mining project was undertaken. They implanted artificial gravity on the frozen planet, then dragged it out of the solar system for exploitation during exploration.

The fourth and fifth centuries of the Ark calendar were their most peaceful. Thanks to the water and mineral content mined from the frozen planet, the soil on the dwarf planet became increasingly fertile.

The government opened many new fields, food reserves were always stable, and the birth rate increased. At the peak of prosperity, access to education was equalized. The social walls of hierarchy were gradually lowered, and democracy was introduced.

After the problem of food shortages was solved, the research group could focus on the next project by stabilizing the position of the government.

They established assemblies of representatives, then planted minions to control society from behind the scenes.

Within just a few decades, the dwarf planet was thriving. It was transformed into an explorer colony with a highly advanced level of technology.

To accelerate development and increase adaptability, they undertook a genetic manipulation project and strengthened humanity's bloodline.

Using genetic maps of various animal and plant species frozen in the Ark's archives, the research group created artificial mutations to ensure the survival of the human race. Overhauling the original structure of their ancestors, they altered it to adapt to extreme environments.

The generation born in the fifth century had extremely fast wound recovery capabilities, some were able to grow damaged organs, and the majority had longer lifespans. They were also immune to cancer, infectious and chronic diseases, and genetic deterioration caused by inbreeding,

When the next generation is born, their digestive systems and body proportions immediately undergo accelerated evolution.

Changes to their digestive organs meant that some of them could no longer eat meat. They can only consume plants, water and air. Their body metabolism is similar to that of herbivores, but they have the ability to photosynthesize like plants.

In addition, there are also children who have mutational aberrations. Out of the provisions of genetic manipulation, occurring due to crossover between generations.

Generations with genetic manipulation can only have offspring with their kind, as the cells that bind the genetic structure cannot be passed on through crosses. If this is violated, their children will definitely be born with defects.

The animal or plant genes in their bodies will develop, then take over the human structure and change it. Creating further mutations that are heterogeneous. It can vary depending on what genetics dominate.

Before the fifth century ended, children with unique organs began to appear. It continued to grow and began to dominate. Referred to as "Defects" because they have genetic abnormalities, they are considered disgusting and strange by the general public.

Those who were born blind had echolocation abilities, while some could see clearly in the dark like nocturnal creatures. Others have extraordinary physical abilities, unnatural stamina, and very stable mental control.

Children born with paralyzed bodies tend to be more intelligent than other generations of mutations, with some even surpassing the research group at the age of 5. Most of them have high photographic memory and cognitive abilities.

The paralyzed children's calculations were extremely accurate, even close to predictions and could rival the calculations of the Ark's main computer. It was as if they were born into the world just to fill that role, as the visionaries of the remaining human civilization.

Although they could not walk and only lay limply on their beds, they were all revered as Oracles by the researchers. Having an important position and role in the Ark, they are used to predict the conditions of the small planet's highly unpredictable route.
