"You're one of the best agents I have ever known. You're also the biggest factor in why I reached my status. Collin, whenever you promise something, you always commit to it and prove it... But I don't feel confident in you this time. This is different from the usual issues we faced." Lawrence bitterly smiled.
"Let's say you hired more bodyguards and they caught Emma. Nothing will happen since Emma will just leave the prison because of her father." He spoke slowly, choosing each word carefully.

"The worst-case scenario is if the bodyguards accidentally kill Emma. This is the first time I'm meeting Terrier Blackstone, but I know he's not a simple person. He will get revenge if Emma dies." The thought alone made his stomach twist with unease.

I just have to marry her for a year then dump her, right? It's not that bad." His attempt to lighten the mood came off exhausted rather than confident.
"How can you teach her how the world works? And what if this treatment doesn't work?" Collin might be greedy, but he always prioritized his clients.
Lawrence laughed out loud.
"It seems like you don't understand. I'm the Romance Box Office King. If I have to act like a husband for a year, then I'll do it. That bitch will get slapped by the harsh reality. I will cure her mental illness." This time, Lawrence was filled with determination.
"How about Zara Lauren?"
"We broke up. She turned 25 years old last month. She's past her prime." He said it casually.

Collin didn't expect that. He thought they were doing fine.

The two returned to the shed where Terrier was waiting. He opened a bottle of champagne to cool off, the bubbles fizzing loudly.
"Mr. Blackstone, my client agreed, but we want more."
Lawrence slightly widened his eyes. It seemed that Collin didn't want to lose in some aspect, and Lawrence admired that fire.
'Since Lawrence has to do something he didn't want, then I'll make sure it's worth it. Terrier is rich and loves his daughter so much. He will agree to our condition,' Collin thought.
"How much do you want?"
"Lawrence will earn $100 million by signing the deal, and he will get 2% shares of the Blackstone Corporation once he completes his job."
Terrier put down his champagne and extended his hand without hesitation.
"Consider it done."
Money was not a problem for someone like him. If he had to spend $1 billion to fix Emma from her delusions, then he would gladly do so.
"But Mr. Blackstone, how can we know if the treatment succeeded?"
"I will be the one to determine that. She's my daughter, I know if she changed or not." His tone was absolute.
"... That's great then. Before we leave, I have a last question. When Emma was stalking my client, did you know about it?"
"Yes. I also know that she bought a ticket to the premiere. But I didn't know about her having a gun in her purse." His voice darkened slightly.
Lawrence and Collin looked at each other. No one knew what conversation they had with that gaze, but both of them shook hands with Terrier, their agreement now sealed.
"The psychiatrist said that we should hire a talented scriptwriter and director to help with how to make a convincing love story. My secretary will contact you later."
Lawrence and Collin left the rooftop.

Right when they left, Emma showed up and hugged Lawrence excitedly. Collin was worried at first, but he was stunned when he found Lawrence smiling like a prince charming. His transformation was so flawless it sent chills down Collin's spine. There was no disgust in his eyes.
Collin gulped hard because Lawrence was showing strong love to Emma. It was an amazing and terrifying scene at the same time.
"Did you wait for me?" Lawrence asked the woman lovingly.
"I miss you."
"I miss you too."
Emma blushed hard as Lawrence leaned closer and kissed her forehead. It seemed that her father kept his promise. Terrier said that he could convince Lawrence to marry her. Just as she expected, she always got whatever she wanted.
She giggled and rubbed her cheek against Lawrence's chest.
