Indra opened his eyes.. he slowly started to look around..Whoooooooooooshhhhh...
sudden noise enter his ears...it was sound of waterfall....he looked around and in front of him was a fifty foot long waterfall...not only one there were three such waterfall in total having same height...
The waterfalls were such that if they are connected with an imaginary line...they would form an equilateral triangle...And..at the centre of that imaginary triangle was Indra..his hands were tied by a strong black rope...and besides him was Kai who was holding him by his shoulders for balance.....
" Yaare...Yaare...Soooo finally awake...Huhhh" whispered Kai slowly lifting his hands from Indra's shoulders...
" Wha..at? Where are we!?" asked Indra...
" You will soon know..." replied Kai...
Indra felt his feet wet...he was standing on the water coming from the waterfalls from all three directions.....the water only reached up to his ankles...The water was clean...Then he looked above him...the sky was clear...not even a single cloud...the bluish blanket covered the whole sky....
As he turned towards Kai for asking him further questions...he found Kai has already left and he is all by himself now....
Suddenly all three waterfalls started to glow in a light bluish colour....
" Give your introduction..." asked a heavy voice coming from one of the waterfalls...
Indra took a few seconds to grasp the sudden voice that ordered him...
Then in a loud voice he answered , " My name is Indra..."
Indra had realised that he needs to be very careful with his words, he knew...any misunderstanding would be devastating for him...any wrong step and he might get executed....
" Give your full introduction " ordered another rigid loud voice from a different waterfall...
Indra took a pause then in a confident tone replied, " Sir, I belong from a family that practice martial arts.... Sir, I am afraid that I cannot tell you anything else about myself...because I still don't trust the people enough here to share my background...I am sorry for that , once I feel comfortable telling...I myself will come and tell you all...."
" Fair Enough " the heavy voice said.....
" You both cannot forget what happened two years back.....
' THE CHILLY SUNDAY CASE'...it was also a Maverick" a feminine but a strict voice said from the third waterfall....
" We haven't forgotten...but...he had defeated Sura..." said the rigid voice...
Indra was surprised that they already knew about it.....
" But that is not enough to trust him...it might be the King's trap..." argued the feminine voice....
" Hmmmm...but I have been informed he cooperated with one of the squad member to fight Amora...." said the heavy voice...
" It did bring us some crucial information ...but Amora was not defeated and it could be that he cooperated because it was a part of his plan to come here...." the feminine voice argued back....
" Kai!...What are your thoughts...on it..? you know the squad member who came back alive better...." said the rigid voice...
Kai quickly appeared before them beside Indra , he bowed down and said..." I pay my greetings to the almighty TRISHOOLS....
The name of the squad member is 'Hakai'...it was a miracle that he survived the Silent Paradise when all the other members including squadron leader perished..."
Kai took a pause then further added, "
When I say miracle I mean that he was lucky....but....I have been heading the Internal Security Council for a quiet good time now...and I can ensure one thing that is, it was not only luck...I have sent Hakai in many missions some even the deadliest ones... including the missions for defeating KING'S TITLES and where we lost our valuable warriors, he survived each of them...it has only been two years since he joined and he already at a level to be approved for a mission at Silent Paradise...."
" So what?,...get to the point..we don't have much time..." said the feminine voice...
In a soft and respectful manner Kai replied," Sorry ma'am,..but it was important to tell you that before I put my point... everything I told you about Hakai tells that Hakai is not a regular Squadron member...he has talent and above all a strong will to survive the worst situation..So if someone like him tells me that he would take the responsibility of the Maverick and is ready to get executed if he betrays us....I cannot ignore that...So I would like to give this Maverick a chance... "
" You mean you are going with the statement of your junior....You all want to gamble in such a important issue...." said the feminine voice in a harsh tone...
" It's enough, let us vote...." said the rigid voice...
" CLEAR " said the heavy voice...
" AGAINST" said the feminine voice....
" As for me,...CLEAR " said the rigid voice
" So it is decided with two votes in the favour and one vote against the 'Maverick', he shall be allowed to live here , in this holy village , namely 'NOMI TENGOKU '....but... only on one ...condition....he shall join a squad and serve the village till his last breath...." said the rigid voice loudly....
" You people are crazy .... If anything happened you must be ready for the consequences... I am leaving " said the feminine voice....
As the voice disappeared the waterfalls from which the voice was coming stopped glowing....then one by one the other two waterfalls stopped glowing...
" Yaare...Yaare... finally it's over " sighed Kai as he slowly approached towards Indra...
Indra had a dejavu...he somehow realised what was gonna happened....as Kai approached him he suddenly punched Indra's guts and Indra was knocked out unconscious....
Now when Indra opened his eyes, he was back in the room lying on the bed...
Kai was sitting on the chair....
Indra leaned forward and said , " Why you have to punch me...it hurts like hell"
" Simple, You are not allowed to see the route to that place " replied Kai...
" Huhhhhh...simple... don't you have a more peaceful way to do that...anyway I want to thank you to defend me there...." said Indra smiling...
"Don't get the wrong idea boy....I did what I felt right..." replied Kai...
Hakai was also sitting on his bed....
"Where were you?" asked Indra...
" I was also there ... but at different part...I was being questioned by other officials..." replied Hakai....
" I am feeling nauseatic since I woke up...I might have fever" said Indra covering his mouth with his right hand to avoid vomiting...
" Now you talk about it...I too feel same...." said Hakai....
" Yaare...Yaare... I almost forgot I needed to give you both this...drink it..." said Kai taking out two glass bottles having a dark greenish liquid inside it....
" What is that?" asked Indra...
" Oh this,...This is the antidote for the poison that I made you ingested..." said Kai..
"Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat!!!!!!!!!"
Both of them screamed together....
"How!?....When!?.... How could you say that with a plain face ?" said Indra snatching the glass bottle from Kai ....
" And Why me? ..... It make sense for Indra ...but... Why me?...." said Hakai , he too snatching the glass bottle from Kai...
" What!!! You cannot say that in front of me." said Indra....
Both of them immediately drank the antidote...
" I take back what I said earlier...you are not a good guy...you are evil ...you are devil...you double face...you ...you...you ...." said Indra in anger and irritation...
" When did you made us ingest it?....Could it be yesterday night...those buns?..." asked Hakai still unable to believe he was poisoned...
"Yaare... Yaare...Who knows?... But you both are over reacting...it wouldn't have killed you immediately...you would have been paralysed by it ...so we could interrogate you both then you would have died slowly slowly in a month...." replied Kai
" Are you crazy? " Indra said in anger...
" It was necessary, if you wouldn't have allowed to reside here....we would have need to execute you and it was done to suppress any rebellion from your side.....As for you Hakai...we cannot even trust our comrades in these kind of situations....you already know what is the situation outside..They are there, outside this village...or who knows..they could be among us....." said Kai in a firm and strict tone...
Hakai was silent, his silence and his sad eyes were enough to tell that he knew how grave the situation was.....
After a short silence in the room....
" HaaaHaaHaa....so here are they...the enemies who dare to enter this holy village...." said a loud energetic voice coming from outside ...
