Michelle looked around as the duo went down a slope. "I hope that Poppy doll is doing alright..." she said, lowly. Soon after, Michelle poked around the vent and saw a room with an input unit near a partially fenced area in the distance.
Michelle looked down and saw a few boxes before jumping down and landing on them. After Michelle got on the ground, she looked forward and saw two electric poles. "It looks like we've got ourselves another electric puzzle," she said as Huggy Wuggy got out of the vent.
When Huggy Wuggy got on the ground, they heard something hit the ground, which startled them. Huggy Wuggy approached Michelle's side before looking around and growling. Michelle looked up and saw Poppy looking at the duo in shock.
Michelle came out of hiding. "It's you..." she said. "The Poppy Playtime doll from the case." Poppy flinched a bit and looked at Michelle. "Oh! Uh... sorry," she said. "I didn't mean to scare... both of you."
Huggy Wuggy stared at Poppy as Michelle stepped forward. "What are you doing up there?" she asked. Poppy looked at Michelle. "I was just... trying to get the power back on," she said before stepping to the side, which revealed an electric output unit. "Here..."
Michelle nodded. "Much appreciated," she said before pulling the left trigger. The blue hand touched the output, which lit the cables. "I don't think I've seen you around here before," Poppy said. "Were you an employee?"
Michelle shook her head. "No, I'm not. By the way, my name is Michelle Mercia, but you can call me Misha," she said before circling the first electric pole. "And besides, I think it would have been kind of illegal to have an orphan kid work at a factory back then."
Poppy was surprised. "You're an orphan?" she asked. Michelle nodded. "I am, but not from Playtime Co.'s orphanage," she said before getting on the second electric pole's base.
Michelle circled the second pole. "However, the orphanage I grew up in had a joint connection system that allowed us to go to the factory once a week," she continued. Poppy looked at Michelle. "If that's the case, why are you here?" she asked.
Michelle stood before the electric input unit and looked down. "Well... since I'm months away from turning eighteen, I ran away," she said, which surprised Poppy. "Whenever we turn eighteen, we're... thrown out on the streets."
Michelle turned her head to Poppy. "I found this place by coincidence, but now I've got a new goal," she continued before aiming and pulling the right trigger. The red hand touched the electric input, which powered the area up. "If I may ask, what is this goal?" Poppy asked.
After the hands retracted, Michelle looked at Poppy, determined. "To find my friends; they used to live in Playcare, but they disappeared from my life," she said. "I'm going to find them even if it kills me."
Poppy stared at Michelle, amazed, before smiling a bit. "Throughout my years of being confined in this place, I've never seen a determined young lady such as yourself," she said.
Michelle was confused. "Throughout your years? How old are you exactly?" she asked. Poppy smiled. "I may not look like it, but I'm thirty-two," she said. Michelle was shocked. "Huh?!" she shouted.
Poppy giggled a bit. "If you think that's surprising," she said before gesturing to Huggy Wuggy. "Your companion beside you is eighteen years old."
Michelle looked at Huggy Wuggy, shocked. "Seriously?!" she shouted. Huggy Wuggy nodded. "I figured you and the other toys were unique, but the fact that you can age as well baffles me," Michelle said.
Poppy giggled, which made the duo look at her. "Anyway... I wanted to thank you for freeing me," she said. "I was stuck in that case for so long, it felt like a decade had passed. Thank you..."
Michelle waved her hands. "It was nothing," she said. Poppy walked toward the vent. "I'd like to pay you back," she said before entering it. "There's a train station nearby; it needs a code, and I have it."
The duo looked around the area. "It could help you get closer to your friends, and you could escape together," Poppy continued. Michelle had a blank expression. "Escape..." she said, lowly.
Soon after, the duo saw Poppy at the top of a small vent next to a larger vent. "As soon as you two get on up here," she said before giggling a bit.
Huggy Wuggy wrapped his arm around Michelle before helping her to the vent. "Thanks, buddy," she said. Huggy Wuggy nodded as he got in.
As the duo moved forward, Poppy looked at the larger vent. I never expected someone to tame somebody like Huggy... she could be very useful, she thought before entering her vent.
After going through the vent, the duo entered the office. Poppy appeared in the vent. "Hey, I'm up here..." she said, which made the duo look at her. "I see you..."
The duo approached Poppy as she giggled. "I should be able to follow you two through the vents... this way," she continued before reentering the vent.
The duo got out of the office and saw the scanners in the left hallway. When Michelle was close, she pulled both triggers, launching both hands to the scanners.
After the scanners finished, Michelle looked forward and saw a large, deep gap in the middle of the hallway and a handle above it. "I don't think you'll be able to get me across this gap, buddy," she said.
Huggy Wuggy nodded with a low growl. "But I think I have an idea," Michelle continued, which made him look at her. Michelle pulled the left trigger, launching the blue hand and grabbing the handle.
Michelle turned her head to Huggy Wuggy. "Pick me up and back away as far as the GrabPack will let me," she said. Huggy Wuggy nodded before picking Michelle up and backing away.
Michelle heard the GrabPack strain a bit. "That's far enough," she said, which made Huggy Wuggy stop. "Now, sprint forward and jump."
Huggy Wuggy stared at Michelle in disbelief, which made her look at him with a smile. "It'll work; trust me," she continued. Huggy Wuggy was hesitant before nodding and sprinting forward. Soon after, Huggy Wuggy jumped, which swung them to the other side.
After the blue hand let go of the pole, Huggy Wuggy landed on the ground. "Good job, buddy," Michelle said as she petted his head, which made him purr a bit.
After Huggy Wuggy placed Michelle on the ground, she walked forward. "Poppy should be up ahead; let's regroup with her," she continued.
Huggy Wuggy nodded before following Michelle. As the duo walked, they heard humming. "She must be close by..." Michelle said, lowly.
Soon after, the duo spotted a door in the distance. When Michelle opened the door, they saw Poppy humming while standing close to the giant hole. "Why do I have a bad feeling about this?" she asked. Huggy Wuggy shuddered a bit before they approached Poppy.
When Poppy spotted the duo, she stopped humming and turned to them. "Listen, Michelle... I'm going to need you to trust me—" before she could continue, a pink hand grabbed her and dragged her down, which made her scream.
The duo was shocked. "Poppy!" Michelle shouted. Huggy Wuggy picked Michelle up before jumping down. Soon after, Huggy Wuggy landed on something before sliding down. "I don't know what that was, but we've got to save her!" Michelle shouted.
Soon after, the duo entered a room; Huggy Wuggy placed Michelle on the ground before standing up. When Michelle looked forward, she saw a sign reading 'Game Station'. "The Game Station... if Poppy is there then..." she said, lowly.
Huggy Wuggy looked around with a growl. "We have to find her," Michelle continued. Michelle turned her head to the left and saw a sign saying 'Power' before looking at Huggy Wuggy. "You stay out here and protect; I'll turn the power back on," she said.
Huggy Wuggy nodded before Michelle entered the power room. As Michelle looked around, she spotted the electric output unit and the input unit along with two electric poles. "This seems too easy..." she said, lowly, before aiming at the output unit. "This'll be a tester."
Michelle pulled the right trigger, launching the red hand and touching the output, which lit the cables. As Michelle wrapped the cable around the electric pole, a vertical grate shot up, which cut the power.
Michelle was annoyed. "Well, that's just great," she said. "How can I power this thing if that grate is gonna rise when wrapped around the poles?" Michelle thought of something before crouching. "Let's try this for size," she said before pulling the right trigger again.
The red hand touched the electric output, which lit the cables again. As Michelle backed away, she circled the pole's base. When Michelle reached the other pole, she hummed a bit. "If the right side has that grate as well..." she said, lowly, before stepping to the left.
When the cable touched the electric pole, a gate appeared before the input. "That's what I thought," Michelle continued before walking back to the right side. When Michelle was close to the first pole, she aimed for the input unit. "Gotta time this right..." she said, lowly.
Michelle pulled the left trigger, launching the blue hand and touching the input before quickly wrapping the cable around the pole, which powered up the area. "That'll do it," she said before following the electricity coming from the cord.
Huggy Wuggy turned to the back as Michelle approached him. "I got the power back on; we should be able to get into the Game Station now," she continued.
When the electricity disappeared near the Game Station, the shutters started opening. The duo looked forward and saw a long hallway. "Oh yeah, that definitely isn't ominous as hell..." Michelle said sarcastically before looking at Huggy Wuggy. "Be on guard."
Huggy Wuggy nodded as the duo walked forward. As the duo looked around, Michelle looked up and spotted a red hand scanner. "I can get that door open," she said before pulling the right trigger.
The red hand launched toward the scanner. "Once we get inside, we'll—" before it touched the scanner, the pink hand from before grabbed it. Michelle's eyes widened as someone gasped. "A new playmate!" she shouted.
The pink hand moved up, which took the cord with her before it retracted back without the red hand. Huggy Wuggy growled as he stood before Michelle and looked around.
When the duo looked up, they saw a larger version of Mommy Long Legs approaching them from the roof. "It's been so long since Mommy had company..." she said.
As Mommy Long Legs got on the ground, she looked at Huggy Wuggy. "What's this? Mommy never expected to see the loyal guard dog down here..." she continued before stretching her head toward him. "Did the little puppy get lost?"
Mommy Long Legs giggled as she turned her head upside down. "You're far away from your home..." she said. Huggy Wuggy snarled at Mommy Long Legs. "Protect Misha..." he said.
Mommy Long Legs gasped. "The puppy speaks..." she said before giggling and pinching Huggy Wuggy's cheek. "Good boy." Huggy Wuggy tried biting Mommy Long Legs's finger, but she quickly pulled away. "But that name you said... Misha..." she continued.
Mommy Long Legs turned her head upright. "Where has Mommy heard that name before?" she asked. Michelle stepped to the side a bit. "Uh... I can answer that question..." she said, which made Mommy Long Legs look at her. "I'm Misha..."
Mommy Long Legs stared at Michelle before gasping. "Yes, yes, Mommy remembers you," she said before stretching her head close to her. "You were the good kid from that other orphanage who came by every week to visit Mommy and the others."
Mommy Long Legs giggled as she poked Michelle's nose. "You've gotten so much bigger; Mommy is very happy," she continued. Huggy Wuggy growled as Mommy Long Legs giggled. "Isn't this exciting, Poppy?" she asked as she pulled the other hand down.
Soon after, the duo saw Poppy wrapped in spiderwebs. "Very exciting, Mommy," Mommy Long Legs said in a mimic voice.
Mommy Long Legs looked at the duo. "Mommy heard that Miss Poppy was going to just give you the train code to escape," she said. "Now, how is that fun?"
Mommy Long Legs looked at Michelle. "Instead... why don't we make a game out of it?" she asked. "The Game Station is still working; it'll be just like old times." Michelle was concerned. "Mommy, I have an idea for the stakes," Mommy Long Legs said in a mimic voice.
Mommy Long Legs brought Poppy close to her. "What is it, Poppy?" she asked. As Mommy Long Legs made whispering noises, Huggy Wuggy glared at her, and Michelle stayed close to him.
Soon after, Mommy Long Legs gasped. "That's a wonderful idea, Poppy," she said before holding Poppy out to the duo. "Tell them your idea as you did with Mommy."
Mommy Long Legs moved Poppy a bit. "If you beat all three games, Mommy will give you the train code and let you leave," she said in a mimic voice.
Mommy Long Legs smiled. "That's right! And if they lose?" she asked. Mommy Long Legs held Poppy out to Michelle. "If you lose... Misha must stay with Mommy... forever..." she said in a mimic voice.
Michelle's face went pale as Huggy Wuggy growled while Mommy Long Legs gasped. "Mommy loves that idea, Poppy," she said before stretching her head to Michelle. "Ooh, you're going to have so much fun."
Mommy Long Legs climbed on the wall. "Head to Musical Memory, and Mommy will get things started," she continued. "But remember..."
Mommy Long Legs's smile turned scary. "No cheating... or Mommy will punish you..." she said before giggling and climbing up the wall while laughing.
When Mommy Long Legs was out of sight, Michelle crossed her arms. "Stay with her... forever..." she said before trembling and collapsing on her knees.
Huggy Wuggy looked at Michelle before crouching and wrapping his arms around her in a hug. Michelle looked at Huggy Wuggy, tears pricking her eyes, before covering her face in his fur. "I'm scared, Huggy... so, so scared..." she said, lowly.
Huggy Wuggy stroked Michelle's head. "Huggy protect Misha... no matter what..." he said, lowly. The shutters before the Game Station opened, which made the duo look at it.
Michelle stood up, which made Huggy Wuggy look at her. "Let's... let's get that train code back," she said. Huggy Wuggy nodded as he stood up, and the duo walked forward.
