The story begins with two teenagers on a motorcycle speeding in the streets like there's no tomorrow while speeding we can hear the both of them arguing about something, this two are Takashi Ray and Yamato Yuri two high school students they're both 17 years old and they both live together, and the reason that they're speeding right now is because they are late and Ray is very strict about his perfect attendance.
Yuri: Slow down, we're going to die like this.
Ray: Shut up this is all your fault and you're now complaining too the audacity, you forgot to set the alarm so now we're late not only that but you also forgot to fill your motorcycle with gas so now I have to carry you ass with me, so I better not hear you complain.
Yuri: The alarm wasn't my fault, it was your turn to set it, not my fault that you fell asleep early yesterday.
Ray: You dumbass we agreed that the last one to go to sleep is the one who sets the alarm we've been living with this rule for 4 years now.
Yuri: I thought that you set it like you do every night, it's not my fau- WATCH OUT!
Yuri screams warning Ray that they are about to hit a truck, Ray without hesitation slides under the truck with his motorcycle.
Yuri: What the fuck is wrong with you were you trying to kill us there over fucking attendance ?
Ray: I'd rather be dead then late, we're here.
Ray says as he jumps from his motorcycle and starts to run towards the class with Yuri right behind him, they as fast as they could thru the hallway and barely mad it on time.
Ray: is Akira still absent ?
Yuri: yeah, apparently he still needs 1 more month to recover his broken leg.
Ray, Yuri and Akira are childhood befriends they have known each other since they were 5 years old, Ray's parents died in a car accident when he was 10 years old only him and his older brother Izuna how is 5 years older than him survived, 2 years after the accident Izuna went missing and was pronounce dead after the police found the bodies of Izuna's best friends one was burned to death while the other was stabbed thru the heart, and the families of Izuna's best friends reported that he was last seen with them, after that Ray had to take care of him self, who once was a happy and out going child turned into a emotionless person who can express himself with anger only, 1 year after Izuna's incident Ray found Yuri sleeping o the streets so he let him live with him.
A couple tried for 6 years to have a child but with no luck so they decided to adopt they adopted a new born baby that was just newly left by his parents on the orphanage's step they named that child Yamato Yuri, they loved him and spoiled him like he was their own but 12 years later they were finally able to get pregnant, they slowly started to neglect Yuri they even made live live in the basement before their child was even born, and after he was born they kicked Yuri out since now they had a child of their own and no longer needed him around, Yuri was homeless for a few months until Ray found him and took him to live together, even though Yuri endured neglected and abuse, he's super out going and a smile never leaves his face, the type of relationship between Ray and Yuri is like the moon and sun.
As how they can go to school and get food, they go to public school which is free in Japan, and for living expenses, Ray's father left him a handsome of money in inheritance and Ray got a part-time job at a fast food restaurant that pays minimum wage, he doesn't really need it he just saves the money in case of an emergency.
Ray and Yuri passed through the school day without any drama or anything new except a new history project, The project requires groups of at least 3 people, so Ray, Yuri, and Akira formed a team for the project, Ray and Yuri worked on it while Akira's name was just written on it. the project was to make a research about a forgotten ancient civilization, Ray's father was an aerologist and he kept all his researches in the basement, Ray has never entered the basement since his father forbid both Ray and Izuna from entering the basement he told them only to enter it when he's no longer with them.
When Ray goes down to the basement, he starts to look around for something to use in his project. Suddenly, he tripped over a big box that almost looked like a chest, and when he opened it, he found a claymore, a sword that resembled a katana, yet it was not a katana, a map, a book, and a paper that was folded, which looked like a letter, Ray took the book and left everything else aside the only thing that was on his mind is the project and he had a week to finish it, he left the basement and gave Yuri the book.
Ray: Here I found this in the basement amongst my father's old stuff, read it and see if we can use it for the project. My shift is about to start.
Yuri: Holy, that's a thick book man. But don't worry, I've got you, come back safe.
Ray went to his job while Yuri was reading the book, trying to understand whether it was useful; he couldn't understand anything.
Yuri: what the fuck is this ?! man this book ain't useful for the project at all, I think we are better off searching google, but not gonna lie this will make an amazing manga.
4 hours passed, Yuri just finished making dinner, and Ray's shift ended.
Ray: I'm back
Yuri: Welcome home dude
Ray: Did you find anything we can use in this book for the project ?
Yuri: Nope, I think this was a novel your father was trying to write a novel or something. I mean, don't get me wrong, it's good, but we are going to need something else if we want to get a good grade on this project.
Ray: Fine, let's just search the internet for something.
So, then Ray and Yuri spent the rest of the day finishing the project.
The next day, they go submit the project early to the teacher, the day passed normally without any drama.
At night Ray goes down to the basement to check the things he found earlier, when he opened the box the first thing he looked at was the letter, when he opened it the letter wrote:
(My dear sons if you are reading this it probably means that I'm either dead or you went down here without my permeation which is this case I would have already seen you, but if I'm dead I want you to consider this letter my will or a final wish, these two swords are part of the seven mana infused weapons, if you are wondering no this is not a prank mana is real it exists but humans have evolved past needing it a long time ago which is why they stopped using it, so now human do poses mana but it's so weak it's practically not even there, but these seven mana infused weapons contain a lot of mana that could awaken anyone's mana or even imprint it's mana on the user letting user lose their original mana but will be able to use the weapon's, this is why these weapons are dangerous, I've started collecting but I'm not sure that I'll still be alive before collecting all of them, this map is where you'll find the rest of the weapons which are: the great sword of flames, the blade winds, the sword of cold and winter, the scythe of thunder, the blades of the seven seas, the spear of the earth, and the grimoire of nature. For these two weapons in the chest, they are the great sword of flames and the wind blade, if any of this info get out to the public it will cause problems, so please keep this a secret between the two of you, and for the locations on the map, you'll not find anything there at first it's beacau-)
Suddenly Ray heard the sound of glass break he tried to call out for Yuri but he didn't answer, Ray took a photo of the map and took the chest with him and when he went up he saw…..
