Chapter 455 - Chapter 455 : The Fateful Encounter

Tony looked at Evolto, now transformed into Kamen Rider Black Hole, his expression frozen in shock.

The transformation in front of him was unmistakably that of a Kamen Rider.

He had never imagined that aside from Alex Ray, someone else in this world—or perhaps any world—could wield the same kind of transformation power.

And with the "Lucky Bottle" Evolto had used, Tony had already guessed the truth: this wasn't a coincidence. Evolto had a connection to the Reincarnation System, and likely hailed from the same multiverse-spanning battlefield that had dragged Alex into their world.

Moreover, Tony himself wasn't without secrets. Deep inside Stark Tower, hidden from even SHIELD's prying eyes, he held a transformation device of his own—the Foundry Driver, a prototype he had reverse-engineered based on Alex's combat footage.

It was crude, but functional.

Still, Tony didn't rush to use it.

"Maybe I don't need to transform to deal with you," Tony said calmly, instead summoning his Mark LXVIII Iron Man armor. It snapped onto him in pieces, each section locking into place with a hiss of magnetized air and nanotech precision.

The suit gleamed coldly in the sunlight like a knight donning ceremonial armor before war.

Seeing this, Evolto tilted his head and smirked, voice laced with playful contempt.

"It's useless, Tony. I've seen your so-called 'tin can toys' a thousand times across a thousand multiverses."

He gestured lazily, black-hole energy flickering at his fingertips.

"Believe me—if you don't transform, you're not even worth the effort."

Tony didn't flinch.

His eyes narrowed beneath the helmet, HUD systems calibrating, targeting reticles flashing red as the suit adjusted to combat mode.

"You never know until you try," he said coolly—and fired.

Several high-intensity laser beams shot from his palms, each cutting through the air with lethal precision, converging on Evolto in a blink.

But Evolto simply raised one hand.

A miniature black hole swirled to life in his palm—an orb of collapsing gravity, so dense it seemed to swallow light itself.

The lasers vanished into it without a trace.

"Like I said... pointless," Evolto said with bored finality.

But Tony remained unfazed. In fact, the fire in his eyes burned hotter.

This was the first real test of the Foundry Systems—and he wasn't about to back down.

"The battle's just beginning," he said, recalibrating his armor, loading the next barrage.

Evolto seemed amused by Tony's resolve. He rolled his neck with an audible crack and smirked.

"Hmph. So stubborn. You remind me of someone I used to know—Build, they called him. Guess you're cut from the same cloth."

Then, without warning, he lunged forward—like a beast unchained.

While Tony faced down Evolto in the skies above Hell's Kitchen, another confrontation brewed elsewhere in the crumbling cityscape.

Down a ruined alleyway, Golden Sentinel Kang was preparing to exit this dimension. He had an appointment with Reed Richards and the Illuminati, and his temporal doppelgangers from the Kang Dynasty were already inbound.

This trip had cost him time he couldn't afford—but something was tugging at the edge of his perception.

He walked the cracked street with purpose, boots striking worn pavement. The sound echoed strangely, like the beat of an ancient war drum in a dead world.

Then—clack.

The sharp tap of wooden clogs hit the ground, jarring and unnatural in the silence.

Kang froze.

The sound continued for a few steps, then stopped.

The air grew thick. Tense. Even the shadows seemed to lean in.

Without turning, Kang spoke aloud—his voice calm but firm.

"Since you're so eager to be noticed, why not show yourself? A master shouldn't hide like a coward."

The lenses of his helm flashed, scanning behind him, ready to engage.

A moment of silence passed before a smooth, deceptively warm voice answered.

"I'm not particularly interested in you, Kang. But the blade you're carrying… that's another matter."

Kang turned slowly.

The man who stood before him wore a pristine white robe, figure slim and graceful, with a deceptively soft smile on his face.

But his eyes—

His eyes held a glint that could freeze blood.

"You're carrying the Sword," the man said. "I'd recognize that Zanpakuto anywhere."

The man was none other than Gin Ichimaru, the former captain of the 3rd Division in the Gotei 13.

He had betrayed Sōsuke Aizen, died for it, and should've been erased from existence.

But now, he stood alive once more—resurrected by the Main God Space, bound by the laws of Reincarnation.

Gin's eyes flicked to Kang's weapon.

"Tell me," he asked smoothly, "where did you get that sword? And more importantly... will you give it to me?"

Though spoken politely, the words carried unmistakable threat.

Kang narrowed his eyes. He knew Ichimaru by reputation—calculating, dangerous, utterly without moral restraint.

"I doubt you'd believe any explanation I gave you," Kang said quietly. "So let's not waste breath."

He exhaled once, focused, and entered battle stance.

Ichimaru's foxlike smile widened, and in one blur of motion, he drew his Zanpakuto from his side.

"Shoot… Shinso."

In an instant, the blade extended—a blinding silver flash tearing through the air like a lightning bolt.

Too fast.

Kang barely had time to recognize the strike—let alone counter it.

But just as the beam was about to pierce him—

CLANG.

A second blade deflected the blow.

A figure had appeared in front of Kang, holding a Zanpakuto of his own.

His voice was steady, firm.

"Sneak attacks… not exactly honorable behavior."

Ichimaru's eyes narrowed.

The man before him wore a dark coat, his braided hair pulled back, sightless eyes glowing faintly behind his visor.

"Tōsen Kaname," Gin whispered. "You're alive too?"
