After the struggles we experienced from this investigation, we may finally have some answers
Team Light-Speed who have been steadily improving morale for all involved in the investigation has finally encountered a hideout that has yet to be abandoned
What they came across was unexpected to what many theorized on
Instead of bandits, what lurked in the hideout were strange people in varying cloth
The scene they encountered was described was some sort of ritual being performed. Using a recently filed missing person as the center point of their ritual
It was by then that Team Light-Speed stepped in to stop the ritual but things to an expected turn
By their description, what was formerly humanoid forms morphed into grotesque creatures of different forms. Some resembling a mix of different animals to others that were hard to describe what they were supposed to be.
These creatures were said to not be identifiable to any race of monsters that habit the territory of Ingraccia
Despite the concerning description, Team Light-Speed came out of the situation victorious as not only have they survived the encounter, but they rescued some of the reported missing people
From the account of the victims, these creatures performed rituals on them to posses their bodies as vessels, growing their numbers
Team Light-Speed by now had stepped back from the investigation but their praises were being sung across the capital and local towns, cheers of their heroics was vastly heard
With this incidentz the research team had more material to work with, especially one detail to make note of
There came more text to translate given how the hideout was yet to be abandoned
From these text we found repeating symbols that we recognized from previous expeditions. "IVA" was what we were unable to complete prior but now with the pages not yet torn apart, we able to translate it fully

Where once lay the Crazy Pierrot, now is left a cracked mask. With the barrier released, all that is left is the lone survivor of the duel who stepped back, pretending to be exhausted and reverting back to their original form
The first to approach him was his dark fluffy companion out of concern for his wellbeing
Willfla: Master! Are you alright?!

Giving off a slow pace clapping, the Primordial Red took the center of focus
Guy: well done, well done. As of today you are officially a demon lord. Any objections?
Most of the demon lords were either satisfied with my inclusion to the council or were indifferent enough that they didn't object to it
Although as if on script, Roy Valentine was the only one not pleased with my performance
Roy: As if. He barely survived on dumb luck. I'd say he doesn't have wha-
Veldora: Kuahaha! You really think you're tough crap! huh punk! Milis you should teach your subordinate to know his place!
Stepping in immediately as if it was instinct, the white ice dragon velzard made her disapproval known
Velzard: Ara, you said you were trying to act more mature and yet you're still causing problems left and right as usual. maybe we truly should "talk" after this
Veldora didn't say anything, instead just stiffened in fright
Milim: Yeah! Especially since Luminous is trying to keep her identity a secret-noda
I face palmed myself when milim still casually mentioned this, I also felt Yagami doing the same thing in my mind
As for the revealed Luminous, she wasn't coldly staring but was outright shaking in intense frustration at the three members of the True dragon family
Velzard: Maybe I should extent a "talk" to you too Milim
The cold intimidation seems to extend yo milim as the pink hair short stack immediately turned to the other direction while pathetically whistling
Luminous:Tsk! you shitty dragon, you dare even forget my name too!
In spite of her frustration, Veldora seemed almost unfazed compared to his reaction to his sister
Luminous decided to cut the bull crap and revealed herself as the queen of nightmares
Veldora kept a confused expression as Luminous shifted her expression to her servant. Instructing him to head back to their base
After some mild protest, Roy eventually left the meeting hall
Kaijuno: (And to the butcher shop he goes. If I remember correctly when he died, his power went to his twin all piccolo style so there isn't a lost with his death. Thank goodness too, he was more of the jackass brother between the two anyways)
Leon: Actually I recalled Clayman called out for Kazalim. I believed he was the one I killed long ago
Kajuno: Quite the history huh?
Carrion: Yeah, not only leon killed him, he and milim vouched for me to become a demon lord. If memory serves me correctly Kazalim was a deathman too like Clayman.
There could be a good chance there are some further connections. Myabe this could be a sign of his survival and revenge
Leon: I'd prefer you don't take it as me letting him get away. I simply defeated him and took his demon lord status. whatever happens afterwards is none of my concern
Kaijuno: Is that supposed to explain how you didn't let him get away? cause sounds like you just reaffirmed how you did simply let him get away
Leon just kept a blank expression, it made it difficult to tell if he was irritated by my insistence or really didn't held concern for it
Kaijuno: Not like it matters. Clayman did had his connection so maybe Kazalim was mixed in somewhere with his associates
Guy: Maybe you're onto something. Leon's power can harm both body and mind. So maybe Kazelim had a small chance of survival under specific circumstances. Especially this soon
Kaijuno: hmmmm, could possessing a living vassal be one of them? Or even just a third party assistance?
Guy: Exactly
For the brief moment of talking about Kazalim brought me an idea of concern. Clayman was pushover for sure but I don't think it was the case for Kazalim, at least in comparison as presented in the anime
Kazalim seemed to be more competent than Clayman and as his master it would be safe to assume she would be stronger
At least Clayman was a type of fighter that could be overwhelmed by a higher strength alone but Kazalim could be more in league with the demon lords of the previous generations
Unlike Clayman, I'm not completely sure about my chances with the older demon lords
This worry makes me feel uneasy but any future confrontation that the now Kagali will likely pursue
Kaijuno: I guess it's safe to assume Kazalim is basically a stronger clay-
For a split second in the middle of speaking, I had to sink my head down all the way to my shoulders as milim launched a suprise jab at the back of my head
ejecting my head out like a turtle, I was met with back pats from milim, albeit kinda rough pats on the back given her raw physical strength
Milim: you are a bit shabby but I wouldn't say you have too much to worry about
Kaijuno: phew, yeah yeah, whatever. But who ever this kira is, we should keep a look out as it's seems they're becoming a nuisance to more than one of us
Guy: Kira?
Kaijuno: OH! I guess it's sort of nickname for this mystery fellow
Guy held a questioning expression but decided to play along with it
Guy: yeah, yeah. I suppose you're not wrong to see what more this kira will do
To help extinguish the tensed atmosphere, guy called for a sort of recess to give everyone a breather from the intensity. Mine along with Ramiris's group were put in a connected room from the main meeting room
Kaijuno: (oh thank goodness! a break.....hmmmm is it weird I'm kinda peeved beretta left me in the dust? I guess since rimuru was their summoner they'd feel some obligations.
But that only gave me extra trouble from canon. Actually, neither of them are sure if they can get the labyrinth to open in tempest...MAAAAAAYBEEE I could find some opportunity in this tight fit.....and a little pay back)
I could hear Yagami letting out a sigh in disapproval for my lightbulb of a petty idea that I was set to go forward with
Kaijuno: Yo Ramiris! You still looking to open up the labyrinth?
Ramiris: Huh? yeah but it's uncertain if it'll be the case

Conjuring the pile of a contract, I handed it out to Ramiris in hopes she won't bother going through all of it

To my mild suprise, she didn't even bother reading the top page before signing

Right after getting her signature, Raine came by to announce the end of the recess and to return to the main room
I made sure to have Yagami form a copy of the contract for me to lend Ramiris

As to summarize as the document was overly bloated. What I'd get in return for allowing Ramiris into my territory is unrestricted access to all areas in the labyrinth uncluding access to any possible VIP sections.
Having a say in the input of what can be brought into the labyrinth. Can freely enjoy the product and other benefits sourced within the labyrinth including yet to be released products.
Having the authority to give or exchange labyrinth benefits to others. Having a say in the floor order. That was the general gist of it . . . also a 10% cut of any profit from the labyrinth

Returning from our recess, everyone went back to their previous positions before the previous fiasco. Guy opened up to any possible topic to bring up while we were all here.
As naturally played, Frey requested to step down as a demon lord to serve milim which was followed by Carrion announcement to do the same. After some small discussions it became official leaving only 8 seat left on the council. Of course I was keeping my mouth shut about it.
Last thing I need is being responsible for something and guy hounding my ass about it this early on in the story. But as if fate is absolute, someone else brought it up instead
Velzard: So wouldn't it mean it's longer the 10 Great Demon Lords now?
Despite Keeping my mouth shut unlike Rimuru, the white ice dragon would be the one to point out the change in numbers
Just about everyone, including the stoic Leon were shaken and tensed
Dagruel: Damn, it seems to be the case
Luminous: At least we're all here this time, let's just get this over with while can now
Dino: As if, last time, it took us many meetings just to get 10 Great Demon Lords
Kaijuno: (I guess immortality is boring huh...wait, am I immortal? I guess I haven't thought over that yet)
But unlike the suprise of Velzard's unexpected input, Veldora just had to do his expected input

Kaijuno: (now's not the time to showboat!)
Guy: Kaijuno, you stand before us as our newest member. As such I'd like you offer this utmost privilege
Internally, if I had veins in my mind, some would have definitely popped in my frustration

I could just go the easy route and pick octagram, but this is doesn't come around all willy nilly, I want to spin it my own way. Hmmmmmm, how about based off a Villainous Team, let's see hmmm.... legion of doom? Nah, league of villains? Nah, crime Syndicate? Nah, sinister si- why even bother with that one! *sigh* damn, why are all of the famous villain teams have such crappy names!
I was hoping to use my knowledge of popculture for my benefit and glee but it's entirely useless here. I might have to resort to dig into my other specs of knowledge for this one instead unfortunately....maybe axis like the evil axis power back in the day?)
Yagami:( NEGATIVE, due to individual rimuru formerly being Japanese, they would take MASSIVE offense to this)
Kaijuno: (oh shit! You're right. Especially with shizue being those days as well, it'll come off as insensitive. But then what? I would've liked something in regards to the 7 deadly sins to make up for lack of Villainous themeing but there's 8 of us. How about inferno or dante from the book of Enoch? Actually it consists of multiple layers, more than 8, it doesn't match up there either UGH! Yagami, can you please give any suggestions, I'm straight up stomped right here)
Yagami:(Suggestion, instead of focusing on the seven deadly sins, instead use the eight evil thoughts as a basis)
Kaijuno:(Evil thoughts? What are they?)
Yagami:(Answer, the eight evil thoughts consist of: Gluttony, Lust, Greed, Anger, Sloth, Pride, Vainglory, and Sadness)
Kaijuno:(Ok that's getting somewhere, but what words could I associate with these evil thoughts with, any connections?)

Kaijuno:(Evagrius? Maaaybe...hmm but not quite hitting the mark....hm maybe I can take the Eva part of the name. But what else can I take to merge it with Eva?....maybe something demon? Nothing to feel so sure in
What about mythology or folklore? Hades? Wendigo? Actually what was Veldora's ultimate skill called again? Faust? That must be sourced from somewhere. Is there anything demon related with Faust?)
Yagami: (Answer, In the Faust Legend, there is a demon named Mephistopheles or Mephisto for short)
Kaijuno: (oh, yeah! Yeah! OK, if I were to take eva and replace some of the beginning letter of mephisto with it and some small adjustments....hmmmmm Eva-eva-eva uuuuuuuuuuuuuh... Evalphisto? Actually I should confirm something before settling things)
Kaijuno: Hey, is the number part of the name really necessary?
Guy: Well it does signify how many demon lords there are
Kaijuno: I mean, yeah. But it really seems like this numbering makes it easy for this type of problem to happen more than what anyone would want. Besides, I doubt even humans wouldn't keep a head count on their own. Even Dino said it took multiple meetings just to get the last name. Would you really rather not take out the number part entirely?
My reasons left the primordial red mildly unsure who decided to take a few seconds of contemplation before speaking again

Dagruel: If it can save us any future hassle then I'm all for it
Dino: Same, I'd rather avoid the same trouble every time our numbers were to change by even 1

A brief but intense pause silenced the entire room, none of the subordinates dare show any reaction.
The expressions of the demon lords varied, ranging from contemplation, curiosity, or indifference
I myself held back from expressing anything but internally, I was panicking at the thought of not only being rejected but getting scorned out of existence for providing something unsatisfactory
The first to speak up was Guy Crimson who had made his decision to support my suggestion. One by one the other demon lord began to voice their agreements
Given some their tones, I could tell there were hints that they would rather settle with it rather than making an argument
Getting confirmation, Guy forwarded his declaration
Guy: Then it's settled, from this day forth, we shall be known as Evalphisto
Follow her master's words, Raine vocally announces the new status quo
Raine: Then I shall reintroduce the members of Evalphisto also none as the Evil Plateau Demon Lords
One by one, Raine called out each of the individual demon lord and their titles
From Guy the Lord of Darkness to Dino the Sleeping Ruler, I kept my fingers crossed in the hopes that I recieved a satisfying title to be called by

Processing the title that was thrown upon me, in the back of my mind, all I could think was
"What the hell!!?"
Instead of the traditional star spangle octagram, this timeline holds diabolical demon lord council Evalphisto, bringing forth a new wicked era of the Cardinal world
It was more or less trivial matters right after. I'd get the entire forest of jura as my territory as well as milim recieving Carrion's, Frey's, and Clayman's territory. Having finally all matters settled, we had the end of meeting feast to conclude the world's most dangerous tea party.
When the closing dinner came around I just used Gojira to consume all of the dishes to analyze just so I can get away from the freaky demon lords as soon as possible while still not dropping the opportunity for some high quality meals to enjoy later.
Ramiris tried to protest into staying but I insist on getting the hell out of there, with her reluctantly following soon afterwards. On my way out, Dino said something about visiting but I chose to ignore it. Luminous also muttered some about harem, or maybe it was about ham. She could've just in the mood for some pork
Since I'm not milim's bestie, she might actually get pissed if I took away her alcohol and I don't want to get in the splash zone of a drunken milim. Especially since she already acts drunk when she's sober.
When we all reached the end of the hall, we arrived just outside of the city in a bright new morning. The ol town was managing as usual....til I finally returned
"Ah! Kaijuno-Sama!"
"He finally returned!"
Using Mikeal to help me adjust to the mood, I took out Clayman's broken mask that I picked up after finishing him. I lifted it high up in the air for anyone to view
Kaijuno: My citizens! I come bearing grand news! In our war against Clayman! We came out victorious!
Upon hearing this, the crowd erupted in intense cheering. Flustering me mildly
I could relate to Rimuru in regards to this whole worship thing. As someone who used to be human, this massive flow of praise felt super unatural to recieve. I even felt like I had butterflies in my stomach. I suppose a demon lord truly is weak to the power of love

Far up north, in a frozen palace resides the primordial red, currently looking out into horizon at the comfort of his balcony
Behind him stood the white ice dragon
Both had came back from the meeting of demon lords, mildly satisfied with the outcome
"So was it as uninteresting as you were worried it would be Velzard?"
"It was just barely worth my time, it was expectedly dull for most of it"
"I wouldn't say it was a complete waste, afterall Kaijuno was an interesting new member at least"
"I say he was bit lack luster, I know Veldora wasn't as strong as Veldanava but Kaijuno comes across as far more weaker than milim"
Guy raised his grin a bit, confirming something that Velzard didn't caught on to
"I wouldn't say he's a complete pushover, afterall he had this in his arsenal"
Opening the palm of his hand, particles of different colors was formed, slowly devouring the surrounding snow and catching Velzard's attention
"Oh? What might that be?"
Feeling satisfaction, Guy gave off a chuckle before answering
"This is Gluttony"
"Gluttony?"
"Yes! It's absorbing and devouring the surrounding space, there's no doubt about it. Afterall all these years, the user of Gluttony has appeared
Just by this alone, he is a more valuable asset than both Frey, Carrion, and Clayman combined"
"I'm sure it helps that he is located in the east, although I'm sure this would put the empire on edge"
After Velzard said, Guy's grin always lessened and grown more stiff before replying
"It's not just the empire we have to prepare for, there's also the cryptids that we'll need to fend off against"
Velzard herself shifted to a more neutral expression and decided to bring something up
"Speaking of who, I heard reports from Raine's and Mizeri's subordinates of slowly growing activities throughout the west.
It's looking to be that something is stirring up but it is has yet to be revealed"
"Then I suppose we'll just have wait for them to make their move. Being the world mediator really is a busy job, I wonder if your brother knew I would deal with troubling situations like this"
"Maybe so with the burden that the angels have to deal with, someone had to handle things more locally"

As the two rest upon their balcony, the snowstorm of the ice continent continued to go where the wind blows as the tides of the Cardinal World slowly began to shift in a new direction
