WHAT IS MANA?

Mana is the raw life force that is found in all living beings and nature. It flows through the body like blood and surrounds the world like air. It can be:

Internal- a person draws mana from their own life force. How strong it is depends on how strong the person is mentally, physically, and emotionally.

External- Mana is pulled from surrounding living things or the environment.

#MANA VIENS- Individuals with more opened mana veins can reach higher stages faster.

IN THIS WORLD EVERYONE IS BORN WITH ACCESS TO MAGIC, BUT THE STAGES OF VITALCRAFT {VC} DETERMINE HOW DEEPLY THEY UNDERSTAND AND WEILD IT.

THERE ARE 3 STAGES.

1.) PRIMAWAKE

This is the most foundational and difficult stage. The user has to learn to infuse mana directly into their own body which can enhance their senses, speed, strength, perception, and even their reflexes.

Abilities

-enhances vision or if trained and mastered it can make the user see through illusions.

-It can harden skin and organs temporarily by using mana flow.

- Can slow down perception of time in short mana bursts (KEENWAVE). This ability is very rare.

Costs

-Internal mana is drained quickly.

-Improper control can rupture an individuals muscles or nerve damage (Mana burn).

THIS STAGE REQUIRES MEDITATION, BREATHWORK, AND CONSTANT ADJUSTMENTS. ONLY FEW EVER TRULY MASTER IT.

2.) ELEMENTALS

This is the most commonly used stage. The users channel external mana into elemental forms. Everyone can use this stage, but with different affinities and styles.

ELEMENTS- Fire, wind, earth, lightning, ice, metal, nature, shadow, light.

-It is less dangerous then PRIMAWAKE.

-users often combines this with Stage 1 for hybrid combat. (e.g.- flame enhanced speed, or hardened lightning punches).

Control depends on the user's emotions. For example, a calm water user fights very different one filled with rage.

3.) MYTHOSPHORM

A user can choose an element to master. Once they do, they undergo a transformation where they no longer just control the element, they begin to become it, based on their perception and philosophy.

Each user can create a MYTHOSPHORM. This is a unique elemental construct or battle form that is shaped by their trauma, experience, vision, and belief of the element.

Some examples of this can be:

THE EMBER JUDGE: A FIERY HUMANOID WITH MOLTEN CHAINS THAT BIND LIARS.

THE DROWNED WARDEN: A GHOSTLY WAVE ARMORED KNIGHT WHOSE SWORD ABSORBS MEMORIES.

SKY HOWLER: IT IS A WOLF SHAPED WIND ENTITY THAT GROWS FASTER THE LESS RESTRICTED THE USER IS. IT CAN CREATE WIND CURRENTS, AND VORTEX'S.

When you use this stage you become one with the element.

The MYTHOSPHORM can shift the surrounding areas to reflect the user's interpretation.

If the users perception of their elemental shifts due to trauma or growth, their MYTHOSPHORM changes too.

You can only ever master 1 element like this, while you can use the rest normally.

#ELEMENTAL FRACTURES- Failing to master your MYTHOSPHORM can cause elemental instability.
