Chapter 63 - 63: Apologizing

Swoosh!

A blue magic circle lit up in the Student Council room, and Yusuke, Sona, and Tsubaki stepped out from it.

"Thank you, Sona-senpai," Yusuke said as he moved away from the formation. He gave her a bright smile and added, "By the way, you look stunning in that dress. I heard you were beautiful, but I didn't expect you to be this cute."

With that settled, his mind returned to the real priority. Now that his goal was achieved, it was time to focus on the mission. Those 5 skill points were far too valuable to pass up.

[Sona Sitri's submission: 59 (Possessive)]

Her submission value was unusually high. He had not received any notification about her submission increasing, which meant her initial value had been this high from the very beginning.

"!!!" As expected, Yusuke's simple praise caused the tsundere devil girl to completely freeze. Her face did not change, but her eyes widened to the limit. A storm of thoughts ran through her mind. 'What am I, who am I, where am I? Is this a dream? Yusuke! Yusuke praised me! My four hours of effort trying to look good weren't in vain!'

'Kyaaa! Yusuke is so perceptive! How I love you! I love you! I really love you! I want to tell him just how much I love him!!' Subconsciously, Sona cupped her cheeks and gazed at Yusuke with glowing violet eyes. Two tiny pink hearts shimmered in her pupils.

[Sona Sitri's submission + 1!]

'If I were to convince her to have a threesome with me and Tsubaki, would her submission value reach the Dependent level? Nah, I should take it slow. That would be unfair to her; she hasn't done anything bad to me yet.' Yusuke glanced at the wide sofa, then at Tsubaki, and let the idea roll in his head for a few moments before dismissing it.

"I have to go. Thank you again for today, see you later." He turned and started walking toward the door.

"See you later," Tsubaki stopped him with a grin. She leaned close to his ear and whispered, "Wait for me at your new place. We can have a 'big party' tonight."

"Yeah, sure. I'll look forward to tonight." Yusuke gave her ass a firm squeeze. With Tsubaki's back turned to Sona, the action fell directly into Sona's line of sight, snapping her out of her daze.

Her expression crumbled into gloom, her violet eyes turning slightly cold as she watched the two of them acting all lovey-dovey.

Yusuke released Tsubaki and stepped toward Sona. Without any warning, he pulled her into his arms and said, "See you later, Sona-senpai. I look forward to seeing you tomorrow."

"Ehh? Ehh? Ehhh!??" Sona froze stiff. Her cold expression flipped into panic, then astonishment, then happiness, and finally pure pleasure, all while she let out a string of ridiculous noises.

Yusuke released her, winked at Tsubaki, and walked out of the room, leaving behind a horny Goudere and a frozen Yandere.

..

[You are getting better at this,] the system commented as he walked out of the room.

'People learn, and they are forced to learn even faster when their lives are at risk,' Yusuke replied calmly. He had indeed grown more confident and at ease, but this did not come only from learning how to handle Yandere. It also came from the fact that he had become stronger, and that strength brought with it an enormous sense of security.

He left the school and cast both invisibility magic and flight magic, spells he had learned from Sona, as he headed toward his tiny apartment. He could have used teleportation magic instead, but he preferred practicing how to fly.

Yusuke also wanted to learn how to use demonic power, but after listening to Sona's lecture, he realized how unusual it was for a human to wield a Devil's demonic power. To avoid any risk or complications, he decided to ask Tsubaki about it later. It should be much easier to handle than human magic.

The trip to his apartment took over forty minutes. He struggled to keep himself flying straight, nearly crashing into buildings more times than he could count, colliding with a few unlucky birds along the way, and on several occasions, almost losing control completely and plummeting to the ground.

Even so, it was a fun experience.

Bang!

Yusuke dropped to his knees in front of his apartment. Brushing the dust from his clothes, he muttered, "Tsk, I feel like I'm a superhero."

[Childish!] the system snorted with disdain.

'I won't lower myself to your level.' Yusuke walked ahead, pushed the door, and found it unlocked. These crazy women. Not only had they wrecked his apartment, but they had also left it open. Once he returned, they were in for another punishment.

Maybe he should deny them sex for a month, lock them in chastity belts, and forbid them from masturbating. Hmm, that sounded like a proper punishment. Perhaps Murayama should be signed up for the experience as well.

The inside of the apartment was far less wrecked than he had expected. Most of the furniture was still in place. He walked to his room, grabbed a sports bag, and began packing the most important things he would need, such as his spare school uniforms, his trashy laptop, a book, and a few other personal items.

As for the rest, like his clothes and such, only a few were left to begin with. No doubt some wild Yanderes had already 'borrowed' them, and what remained was worn out. He was very rich now, so he could just buy new clothes, or even use magic to create them... though for that last part, he still needed to learn how first.

"Well, let's hope this is the last time I come back to this place. I won't miss you." Yusuke gave his room one last glance and walked away. He felt no nostalgia or lingering attachment toward his room or the apartment. On the contrary, what remained were only pain, regret, and anguish tied to this place.

Swoosh!

When he stepped into the living room, a crimson-red magic formation suddenly lit up before him. In the next instant, two buxom women appeared, both dressed in the same school uniform. One had crimson-red hair, the same shade as the magic formation, while the other had long black hair tied into a ponytail.

"Yusuke Aoki, nice to meet you again," Rias said, bowing gracefully. She looked at him with an apologetic smile and continued, "I didn't mean to intrude on your place like this, but I couldn't find another chance to see you today."

"Gremory and Himejima," Yusuke glanced at them indifferently and asked coldly, "I must say, your skin is pretty thick to come to me after what you both did. So, what brings you here?"

[Indeed, their skin is thicker than their asses!] the system added.

Rias flinched at Yusuke's cold attitude, feeling a sting in her heart. She glanced at Akeno, who gave her a subtle nod, and almost simultaneously, both of them bowed perfectly at a ninety-degree angle. "We are sincerely sorry for the trouble we caused you."

"Apologizing?" Yusuke's eyes widened slightly in astonishment. He had expected many things from them, convincing him, coercing him, or even outright threatening him to either join their peerage or become their man. He had not expected an apology.

Since when did Yanderes become this reasonable?!

"I was stupid and impulsive and ended up harming your friends. Please give me a chance to redeem myself." Rias looked up at him, her azure eyes filled with sincerity as she pleaded, "I beg for your forgiveness. I am willing to do anything to atone for my sin."

Akeno also stared at him with her violet eyes, her eyelashes fluttering, looking utterly pitiful and evoking an urge to protect her.

'What is their deal?' Yusuke regarded both of them skeptically. He was not the same as he had been in the past; there was no way he would fully trust anything a Yandere said.

'Show me their submission value,' he ordered the system.

[Rias Gremory's submission: 41 (Possessive)]

[Akeno Himejima's submission: 43 (Possessive)]

'So low. Then why?' Yusuke stared at the values. They weren't as low as Raynare's, but neither were they as high as Sona's. What was their deal? Perhaps they were trying to make him lower his guard, only to strike again?

"I can let what happened slide," Yusuke said after a moment of silence, pondering. "However, you must promise never to harm anyone connected to me."

"Really? I promise never to do the same thing again!" Rias said, her eyes sparkling with elation as she quickly pledged.

"Additionally, you must allow the two fallen angels, Kalawarna and Raynare, to move freely in Kuoh Town," Yusuke added another condition. It would be troublesome if unnecessary fights broke out just because his two women were wandering around.

He had already asked for permission from Sona, but she told him he would also need Rias's approval.

"You mean the two fallen angels from yesterday?" Rias narrowed her eyes briefly. She wasn't comfortable with other factions wandering in her territory, but for the sake of Yusuke's forgiveness, this wasn't worth arguing over. She readily agreed, "No problem! As long as they don't cause any trouble, I won't mind them."

"Fallen angels..." Akeno's eyes flashed with disgust at the mention of them. Because of her past, and despite being a half-fallen angel herself, she hated them.

"Thanks," Yusuke said without showing much gratitude. He stared at the door. "I still have things to do. Can you please leave?" He showed no intention of keeping them around.

"Emm, yes!" Rias forced a smile at his blatant way of telling them to directly fuck off. She thickened her skin and said, "I want to extend an invitation to the Occult Research Club again. You don't have to join my peerage."

She stared at him with hopeful, pleading eyes. If he were to join them, she would have more time with him and could use her charm to make him fall for her. She was confident in her beauty, after all, she was one of the two great oneesama!

"No, not interested," Yusuke said flatly, shaking his head. He was tempted to join them and use the opportunity to raise their submission levels, but he couldn't accept right away. Doing so would give them the illusion that he was a pushover. 'Sigh. Yanderes really are troublesome.'

[All women are troublesome.] The system corrected him.

'True.' For the first time in a while, Yusuke agreed with the system.

"Alright... see you tomorrow then, Yusuke-kun," Rias said, deflating slightly. She forced a smile before leaving the apartment with Akeno.

As soon as they stepped out of the apartment building, Akeno asked, "Even though you apologized to him, it didn't seem like his attitude changed."

"I already expected him to react like this. It would be strange if he suddenly warmed up to us just because we apologized," Rias said, regaining her composure. She spoke with confidence, "I just have to work hard to improve his impression of me, and one day he will fall head over heels for me."

"At that time, whether it's the two fallen angels, Aika, Murayama, or Sona, no one will take him away from me. He'll be all mine."

"That's the spirit, Rias! I like your confidence," Akeno said, patting Rias's back with a wide smile. Internally, she thought, 'Good. I'll let you draw all the hostility while I work in the shadows... this is going to be interesting. Fufufu~'

I appreciate any form of criticism that can help improve this book. It is easy to lose perspective on what readers might enjoy, so if you have any suggestions to make it better, do not hesitate to share. Just keep it reasonable, not some edgy nonsense like "why not kill this character" or "why are you helping that one."

A small spoiler: Yusuke will end up killing a few crazy Yanderes in the future.
