"Why are you guys so surprised?"
Azaron asked in confusion as he tilted his head to the side.
"If I wanted, I could have wiped out the entire Velkarin Empire with my very first attack, or even half of it. But I decided not to. Do you know why?"
He asked rhetorically as he began to walk forward in calm strides with his hands behind his back.
"Because that wouldn't be fun. What fun and satisfaction would I get if I wiped you all out in one giant attack? The fun lies in watching you all watch everything burn and knowing I, Azaron did it."
He answered truthfully. He could indeed have wiped out everything and everyone in one attack. But as he had said, there was simply no satisfaction in that.
Emperor Horace stared at the approaching Azaron as he asked.
"How do you even sleep at night knowing you wiped out a billion people and even plan to wipe out billions more?"
