(Geri POV)
2 Days Later
I was currently cleaning the hotel's bar while listening to music. It was almost the end of my shift, and I wanted to finish up before I clocked off—lest I feel the wrath of Mother.
(Author note: Charlie is Mom, and Vaggie is Mother.)
I finally finished wiping all the tables and saw that my dad's imp servants had arrived to replace me for the night.
They greeted me with a bow, and I was a bit embarrassed that they would always do this whenever we met.
"No need to bow all the time, guys. We don't do that here."
"Apologies, my Lord. Your father created us to serve, and we will always respect you as his son."
"Well... thank you, but try not to bow to me all the time, okay?"
"Of course, my Lord."
They bowed once more, and I just sighed and left towards my room—well, me and my siblings' room.
Dad said we needed to bond more with each other.
I reached my door and opened it. I immediately saw Plagg sleeping on top of his 20 pillows. Beth was eating a bowl of salad.
I closed the door behind me and headed towards the bathroom. I took off my clothes and got into the shower.
After a five-minute shower, I got out of the steaming shower, my fur shimmering from all the water and reflecting the light.
I dried myself off with a towel and put on my sleeping clothes. I left the bathroom and laid down on my bed next to Plagg.
I opened my hellphone and checked my emails and messages. As I scrolled, I saw a new number.
> "Hey Geri, it's me Luna. I know it's been a while and you're probably busy and all. I just wanted to ask if you wanted to hang out today—I mean, if you want?"
I smiled at her text and replied.
> "Sure, I can hang tomorrow. Come to the Happy Hotel. I'll be waiting by the front door."
I replied back to her, and immediately she responded with a thumbs up.
I chuckled a bit at how quickly she replied. She must be just like me—looking for a friend.
Huh, I guess she actually wants to be friends with me.
I placed my hellphone down on the side table and turned my body to the side, but as I turned, I saw Beth staring at me.
"What?"
"..."
"I'm not going on a date, Beth. We're just gonna hang out."
"..."
"I know I just met her, but I really want this to work out. I really want to make a new friend."
Beth just stared for a good few seconds, then turned and walked towards her bed.
I looked at her for a moment and finally went to bed.
---
(Morning)
I woke up a bit groggy—knees weak, arms heavy.
Then I checked my stomach and saw Beth and Plagg sleeping on it.
"Uhhh... guys... it's way too early for this. Come on, get off me," I said, my voice deep and tired.
"Uhhh... 2 more days..."
I sighed, picked them both up, and got them off me. I then placed them back down on my bed.
I got into the bathroom and began my morning routine—taking a quick shower and brushing my canines.
I put on my usual clothing, left the bathroom, and headed towards Dad's room.
As I entered his room, my face immediately reddened at the sight—Mom, Mother, and Dad were... getting intimate.
I immediately got out and shut the door. I grabbed a pen and paper and wrote that I was leaving to hang out with a friend.
As I wrote, I heard the moans and slipped the paper through the door before immediately leaving to wait outside the hotel's door.
A few minutes went by, and Luna finally arrived.
"Hey... dude."
"Good morning, Luna."
"Yeah, it's a good morning because of you... I mean, because it's good in the morning... I mean—"
"Hehe, I get it, Luna. So what do you want to do today?"
"Well, I was hoping you would know since you invited me. I don't really know much about stuff like this since I spent most of my life in the hotel."
"Wait, you work here?"
"Live here, actually. Mom and Dad own this place."
"Whoa... so, like, you're rich."
"Not really. Mom and Dad are the rich ones."
"Man, that sucks. You don't think they're being a bit... abusive?"
"I don't think so. They always taught me that money isn't everything and that I should work on myself and be the best version I can be."
"They sound nice."
"Unlike mine..." she murmurs the last part to herself.
"What was that?"
"Nothing... come on, I know a place we can hang."
They began walking towards the Bloody Rose Boutique.
"Umm, Luna, why here?"
"Well, I wanted to buy some new clothes, and I thought I'd buy you some."
"That's very thoughtful of you. Thank you."
They then entered the store and started trying on different clothes. Luna got a black crop top with a pentagram symbol on the chest and black shorts with it.
I got a pair of black fingerless gloves that paired quite nicely with my current outfit. I also bought a few clothes for Plagg to wear—hope he likes wearing a black dress.
We paid for what we bought and headed towards the park, where a bunch of sinners were getting a bit... intimate with each other.
Luna covered her face in embarrassment and was trying her best to ignore the scene, but because she was covering her face, she was tripping a bit.
And as a good friend, I decided to carry her in my arms and run out of the park towards the closest exit and into a nearby restaurant.
I stopped and looked at her face—she was crimson red right now. She must be more embarrassed than I thought.
I placed her down on the chair and sat with her.
"Sorry about that. I saw you were uncomfortable and thought I could just carry you out of there."
"It's... fine. I'm fine. You're fine. I mean hot—I mean you're really hot—I mean!"
"Oh, I'm really sorry about that. My fur is usually really hot whenever I'm running."
"Yeah, totally. That's what I was trying to say."
I smiled at her, and we called for a waiter to order food to eat.
After a nice meal, we headed out and both walked towards her house.
"Hey, thanks for today. It was great."
"Don't mention it. I had a really good time as well."
"So... see you next time?"
"Just give me a call. I'm only one call away."
She smiled, kissed me on the cheek, and ran inside her house.
Wow, is this what it's like to have a friend?
I smiled while holding the cheek she kissed and walked back home.
