Four years have passed since I—Monkey D. Iron—came into this crazy world as Garp's troublemaking son.
And guess what? Dragon's my twin brother, and he's as clueless as ever.
But one thing's changed a lot: training.
Yeah, Garp finally decided to get serious about raising us—not just as babies, but as mini warriors.
No more lazy days spent drooling and playing with toys.
If we slacked off, we got what he called the "Fist of Love" right on the head.
Let me tell you — Garp's fist of love is not a joke.
Every morning started the same:
"Get up, you two! No lazybones in this family!"
Dragon groaned, stretching his arms like a sleepy puppy.
I just smirked, ready to prove I wasn't going to be an easy target.
Training wasn't all about punching bags or running laps—though those were part of it.
Garp was hardcore. He made us climb trees, swim across the river, dodge flying coconuts, and even spar with wooden swords.
At first, Dragon was terrible — tripping over his own feet, crying when a stick poked him.
Me? I used those moments to sneak snacks and plot my next full moon rampage.
Garp, however, was relentless.
"Dragon, stop crying! Iron, don't slack off!" he shouted, tossing a wooden sword at me.
I caught it with a grin.
When we got tired or tried to skip training, Garp would give us a warning… which quickly turned into his infamous "Fist of Love" knocking on our heads.
BAM!
"Ow! Okay, okay, we're awake!" Dragon yelled.
"Yeah, yeah," I laughed, rubbing my head.
It wasn't all pain and sweat though.
Sometimes Garp would sit us down and tell us stories—about the sea, pirates, and why he wanted us to be strong.
Even if he was gruff, you could tell he cared.
And me? I was still hiding my powers — the weird opposite-Esacnor thing with the moon — just waiting for my chance to show off.
But for now, it was training and surviving Garp's punches.
Because in this family…
laziness = pain.
And I'm not about to get knocked out by my own dad's "love" again.
