Well this was not the first thing he was expecting when he opened his eyes . Pure lands definitely should not look like his old dirty apartment ( because he never cleaned ) but he also felt that something was wrong with his body as well .
For example his right hand what not bandaged and was too much childlike. He jumped from his old bed went towards the bathroom to look into mirror and to find himself shocked as he saw his childhood self , he really didn't know what to make of this situation he have landed himself in .
He went towards his old small training room . He sat and reached deep into his subconscious to look for Kurama , and saw big old fox simply sleeping at his usual place in his subconscious. He saw himself in that old sealed corridor area of his conscience that he used to have when Kurama and him were still not friends . He walked towards the room were Old Fox was sealed and opened the gate with seal key .
He reached out and said "Kurama ? You awake old friend ?" But no answer came . He got worried for a second and went near him to shake him " Kurama ! Kurama !! Are okay ? Do you know what is going on ? Are we dead ? Answer me , do you know what happened to us ? "
The Old Fox finally opened his eyes and huffed . The he opened his mouth and said "Can you stop shouting in my ear brat . " "Thank God you are awake , I was worried for a second " Naruto smiled brightly and finally asked " So , do you know what going on , are we in Pure land , and if yes then shouldn't you just reform back in Real world ? "
" No , You are not dead. You were going to be die because your Uchiha friend was not able to bring Cure at time so I decided to take matter into my hands. " He said in somewhat tired voice, which was really weird for him because Kurama was a biju not actually a being that get tried, sure his fox friends sleeps alot but that because he is lazy not tired .
What he even does as anyways to get tried other talk bullshit to him about simply destroying the people that increase Naruto paperwork . He then asked " Wait you did something but what ? And why i am a child again and in my old apartment ? "in complete confusion.

But i didn't anticipated that our chakra would end up in past about twenty years along with you memories . which this time around is the time you Graduated from this Ninja Academy. So , we didn't time travel or anything but our memories simply came back in past along ." He explained to his only human friend in as much simplicity he could because he knew that no matter how much far he have come Naruto was still same old buffon in matter of complex matters.
" Woah !! Didn't know you cared this much about little old me . Well knew that you cared enough about me but not that much that you will try to mess with space time itself " cheekingly he said to old furball.
" Remember this one thing kid , you still will need to find the current for illness for future , we maybe in a split timeline from old one because you having these memories but that doesn't mean that will not face those otsutsuki again . You will need chakra of all other biju to fight against them . So make sure you look for cure beforehand this time around. "
"Yeah ! Yeah !! I know that much , I am not even that foolish " Naruto grumbled to him . " Also I will be resting for quite a time to get to my former strength and you will be one your own . So ,don't go straight into fight against Akatsuki , considering your luck you might encounter them straight in travels or something . Now go have fun again. " Kurama said to him before going back into his sleep like lazy fox he was .
Naruto opened his eyes after have his conversion of with old Fox . He sighed " So, I am in past or more likely I have memories of future that can help me ." For Sage sake , this this is a really odd situation for him . He would admit he is not the sharpest kunai in pouch but that didn't mean he didn't have brains to use this golden opportunity to its fullest.
He walked towards his kitchen and looked towards the breakfast considering he was getting but only found Instant ramen and expired milk in fridge. " Aah!! Really was kid that didn't pay much attention things around me , even Konohamaru notice the milk is expired and his way of following me was hiding in square rocks . "
he needed to do something about mess of his apartment frist . " MULTI SHADOW CLONE JUTSU" and Ten shadow clones appeared in room. As he looked to them and said " ok you two go shopping for groceries and other eight will help clean the apartment. I need to focus on how I am going to deal that future . "
The clone to work as they started to clean the apartment and Naruto went to bathroom to get ready for the day as today he was going to meet with his old/new team and very late Kakashi sensei . ( He also have little more devious plan to get little revenge on his always lost on road of life sensei as he remembered the itching powder he had forgotten his pranks in apartment. ) This time taking the duster will definitely will effect him far more than last time .
The clones that went for groceries shopping came back as went into puff of smoke as they left them on kitchen counter. Other did same after cleaning the apartment. He started to eat his breakfast. Few minutes later he left for academy . He was so happy to live the day again as this was reminder of start of his journey toward his dream of becoming hokage . Moment he entered the classroom in happy mood only to remember that bad memory of his life after seeing Sasuke .
This time he was not getting his first kiss distroyed like that and went to sit near shikamaru this time around . Let Sakura and ino fight with each other this time around for he is not getting himself beaten up by sakura and other girls this time around for a thing that was not even his fault .
As he sat and looked around while shikamaru looked at him and said " Naruto what are you doing here ? " Then his went to his headband and thought ' don't tell me , he graduated? ' and then said ." so, what the story behind headband ? Did you stole it from some kid or something because you are in big trouble if that's the case ."
Naruto look at him in big grin and said " No, don't thinks that low of me . I am a first class ninja . I learnt Shadow clone jutsu with some help and Iruka sensei graduated me for learning such hard jutsu " . Shikamaru gave him his usual lazy look and said " what a drag" and then came noise of classroom backdoor opening .
Ino and sakura entered with shoulder to shoulder, though he didn't pay attention last time when he was talking to shikamaru but it seems both of them were having some kind of competition as they were acting 'maybe to see who will get here first ? '
but that doesn't matter they both rushed towards the empty seat that was now because of him near Sasuke . Well teme was in his usual Brooding mood ignore both of them as they went to around fighting to sit near him . He looked around in classroom and saw hinata staring at him from back ' woah !! Was she always that intensely watching him always ' because he definitely should have noticed in past or he has just this much of aloof to not notice her gaze on himself before .
He gave her a smile at which she went beatroot red and might have fainted if he had said something to her. He really was an idiot in was to never notice and then he remembered what he had said to her before start of chunin exam final battle last time around and now he wished that he could dug a hole and bury himself in it for that foolish action from last time around.
In meantime around front gate opened and Iruka sensei came inside the class. He looked around the class told both Ino and sakura to sit and then looked him and smiled on his seeing . He was also happy to see Iruka sensei as being hokage was really taking to much time from his schedule.
