Chapter 1 - 1. Trial at Leicester City

1. Trial at Leicester City

Kevin Kraut was reincarnated in a strange world, different from the one he once lived in. There, he lived with his father (Anthony Kraut); his mother had died during childbirth. They were surrounded by a group of passionate Leicester City fans.

In this world, there was a sport called football. Many people were obsessed with it, and some even cried when Leicester City lost.

Many hoped that Leicester City could one day become as strong as giants like Manchester United, Liverpool, Manchester City, and Arsenal. Fans wished the club could compete fiercely, but despite all their hopes, it was incredibly difficult to challenge the big teams.

Fan 1: "You're crazy!"

Fan 2: "Ahh, why didn't they score?"

The club's fate continued to decline until Aston Villa defeated Leicester City 3-0.

Kevin could only smile bitterly and shake his head. He was now 10 years old and also played football. Confident in his abilities, he believed that he could one day become a first-team player at Leicester City.

Kevin:(I still have the Divine Eyes, and I'm the only one who can use Mana to strengthen my body.)

Kevin had reached his limit. He didn't know why. It felt like there was an invisible wall he couldn't break through. If only he were in that world, he would be a great warrior capable of slaying goblins—but in this world, he was truly lucky. His power, he believed, went beyond that of ordinary people. He was certain of it.

Kevin:(If I can't grow stronger now, can I even kick harder than Roberto Carlos from Brazil?)

...

Kevin Kraut, 16 years old.

In early 2007, Kevin took part in a trial for young players hoping to join Leicester City. During his school years, Kevin grew into a midfielder with powerful attacking and defensive skills, gaining recognition—even becoming known throughout Leicester City.

At first, many underestimated him because he was only 16 years old. Still, many also claimed he was a football genius. Of course, there's a difference between an amateur and a professional player, but when he dribbled like Cristiano Ronaldo and Ronaldinho—showboating on the pitch and deceiving opponents with tricks—the coach and assistant coach could only hold their heads and sigh: "This is insane!"

The balance between his left and right foot said it all. Such players were rare. Even those who could use both feet typically had one stronger side. Not Kevin—his balance was flawless.

Kevin's father was also there, cheering on his son and beaming with pride that his boy could perform such feats—even though he himself never could!

"Shoot!"

As the ball flew at high speed toward the goal, goalkeeper Paul Henderson stood no chance. A 35-meter shot—just like those from professional players.

Leicester City midfielder Andy King covered his mouth in disbelief. He was the club's top young talent and had already been fooled by Kevin's moves multiple times. He stared at the scene in awe, unwilling to believe it.

Leicester City's main player, Gareth McAuley, scratched his head. It was obvious the kid he was looking at was a genius on a different level. Just like Cristiano Ronaldo had once amazed everyone—Kevin was a rare prodigy.
