Chapter 335 - C335 : Aria's Prison Removed

While Albert had been preparing to free his wife from the dragon's eye, Bokhoir the Bulwark had just finished laying waste to a whole horde of dragons that had been heading towards a sacred dwarven mountain. His breath ragged, and his legs trembling as he chuckled to himself.

"I did it, I actually pulled that off…" He spoke with enough disbelief that he didn't need to know what his next status was going to show… He had already earned his level up.

The School District with its numerous members on board, sailed the air chasing after a thunder, nipping at its heels. That was, until someone whispered into Leon's ear, and he finally took action himself.

The reason he waited? Simple, he was a professor, and there was a perfect opportunity to teach the students something, he just let them handle it. He was quite confident in his abilities to say the least, and had every reason to be. Because he was part of a very small group of adventurers, to become a member one must be able to tag Shurry the Origin Wolf in combat… Something that the mentioned werewolf did not make easy, for anyone, however, he did make it fair.

With Leon's act, the thunder was quickly waning in strength, and numbers. By the time a certain country was in sight, there was only one left, it was quite a bit stronger than the rest. But not enough to break Leon.

"Altena will not be attacked while I'm here to stop this thing… Here's hoping Alfia is about to finish her ridiculous chant…" Leon grit his teeth.

…

"So, why isn't he killing the dragon now?"

"Because, dragons are tricky creatures to deal with. This one more so than the rest."

"How so?"

"It is a true dragon. Killing its body is good, but to really set it back, one has to break its soul, and leave no bodies around that it could use for itself."

"So that's why those three freaks of nature are still carving up the dragons that keep flying out of the giant hole?" Someone pointed to a screen.

"Exactly. Though, I wonder how they're going to deal with the dragons going everywhere."

"Look over there, the Tsugunai is going after a thunder as well."

"They're definitely not as good as the School District, but at least they're no longer cowardly."

"Yeah, those guys weren't just weak, they single handedly caused a lot of strife for the city with their antics."

Albert was finally ready, and gave Shurry a nod.

Shurry returned the nod, and transformed once again, assuming the form of a wolf, the size of a mountain once again.

"I feel refreshed enough. Go ahead, whenever you're ready."

"I would normally say good luck, but you're a fellow hero. I know you can handle it." Albert replied, then drew his sword, carving out the dragon's makeshift eye, in other words, the prison in which his wife was stuck inside.

"Luna, go and help Aria get free of that accursed prison."

"But what about you?"

"I know you want to help her out. And you won't get a chance until after this fight is over."

Luna felt torn, but listened, she couldn't continue to ignore Aria's pains any longer. It was to the point where Shurry had been bearing the burden of them himself, while fighting. So she left his body, and went to the crystal to start working on freeing the magical bonds that had formed over the last thousand years, this would take her a while.

"I'm going to take this to a safe place, Orario. I'll come back to help after that."

"No, you'll help clear out that pseudo dungeon of the dragon's creation. You and I haven't fought together before. We would just slow each other down, to dangerous levels."

"Hmm, you're right. But you owe me a drink after this."

"HA! Naturally, now go, this thing is about to wake up."

Albert high tailed it out of the way, carrying a comedically large crystal all the way back to the city of Orario. Once he arrived, the citizens saw first hand, up close just how big the "eye" was, and shuttered to think about how massive the dragon actually was. Those who had managed to catch a glimpse of it earlier were still trembling or passed out in terror. Something about its size being incomprehensible to them.

"Damn that thing must be huge!"

"Yeah, and Origin Wolf is fighting it, on equal footing."

"That's the hero of our age for ya!"

"Three cheers!!"

And of course there were some who could handle the idea, and decided to indulge in cheers instead of despair.

However, even the most cheerful would soon realize, it's a littler for celebrations.

"Luna? That's your name, correct?"

"Yes, what is it Albert?" Luna's head popped out of the crystal for a moment, her form ethereal in nature.

"How long do you think it will take you?"

"I don't know, but without distractions it'll go faster." Luna huffed, and popped right back into the crystal.

Albert let out a difficult sigh, and then a short chuckle. "Well in that case, what do you say, old friend, want to carve up some more dragons?" He said tapping the pommel of his sword, the sword humming in response… "Pfft, don't get greedy now, those three aren't half bad… We might not get that many, you know." The sword hummed again this time slightly differently. "In that case better work hard." He said, and then with a speed incomprehensible to almost anyone, he appeared at the new dungeon with Empress, Maxim, and Zald, joining the fray with his perfect swordplay.

"Hey now, stop taking all my kills Albert, that's not fair." Maxim groaned.

"Get better then, little Maxy." Albert retorted.

"Hey, he's not little, I give my personal seal of verification of that." Empress giggled suggestively.

"It's good to have you back. Missed you quite a bit… Especially recently. Mind if I take a break, just need a potion." Zald laughed.

"Sure, little Zald, go get your bottle."

"Tsk, fine then, shows how much you know, Empress." Zald smirked, kicking it up a notch.

This began the cycle of each of these four doing the equivalent of a dick measuring contest. And just as they finally got into the grove, a roar unlike any other reverberated through the world in a completely unnatural way.

"Holy shit, was that the one eyed one?"

"Yeah… I think it was…"

"He sure as shit wasn't kidding about taking it easy in that fight earlier. So, what's the plan, Zald?"

"Kill every single dragon of that detestable thing's lineage. Hold the line until Alfia is done, Once that happens, we'll be set."

"Hmm? Must be some crazy spell…"

"Oh, it sure is, those four have only tried a combo once before, I was glad I hadn't been around for it."

"Four?"

"His Queens, they have some sort of unique amplification, or something. That's all I know…"

"I see…"
