'What is this?' he thought.
He opens the chest and finds an item inside.

Torches light up the room as the previous abysmal darkness now shines bright.
The chest is gone; the interior is suddenly transformed into a castle room, wherein lies a throne and a single entity upon it, shrouded in pitch-black fog.

The figure rises, unsheathes its sword, and strikes.
