The Underworld was a dark and hidden place, lost between the cracks of reality. No light could survive there, and the air felt like burning ash. Everything was filled with smoke, heat, and silence. Strange and terrifying creatures walked across its endless black lands—demons with eyes that burned like fire, fallen angels who had been cast out from Heaven, and even human souls who had died with unfinished business. These souls couldn't move on, so they were trapped here, in this terrible place between Earth and the afterlife.
But the universe was much bigger than just Earth and the Underworld.
There was also Heaven—a place of pure light and peace, far above what humans could understand. And beyond even that, there was a fourth world. A mysterious place full of powerful beings that once attacked the Underworld. No one knew why they attacked. No one fully understood their power. Like the Underworld, this world also had a key—but not hidden in a person. It was a living creature, able to open gates between worlds and travel through them.
THE KING OF SHADOWS
In the center of the Underworld was a dark throne, made from skulls. On it sat the most powerful warrior across all the dimensions—the King of Shadows. He was the strongest. He was the last line of defense for the Underworld. He had fought many battles and won every single one.
No one knew his real name. No one had seen his real face. Not even his own followers. He was just a shadow, a silent and powerful figure feared by all.
Long ago, he was different. He had once laughed. He had once loved. But as he lost those he cared about, something inside him broke. The light in him faded away, and only darkness remained. Now, he lived for only one thing—to protect the Underworld.
If the Underworld were to fall, there would be no home for demons, fallen angels, or cursed souls. These beings couldn't survive in any other world. If they escaped, they would turn the other dimensions into chaos and darkness. All except one place—the Celestial Realm.
The Celestial Realm was high above all others. A place of perfect light where no evil could enter. It was peaceful and full of power.
The one who ruled this sacred realm was not God, but chosen by God. He was the Leader of the Celestial—a powerful servant called the Watcher of Worlds. He watched over all the realms to keep balance. He never interfered with anything, unless the balance between worlds was broken.
When things went wrong—when spirits crossed into worlds they shouldn't, or when chaos spread—he would come down. And when he did, the sky shook.
Every king, every ruler from every world bowed before him. Even the King of Shadows lowered his head. No one had ever fought the Celestial Leader and lived. His presence brought silence. His power could destroy entire worlds with only a whisper.
He was the sword of balance. The servant of God. The guardian of creation.
THE UNDERTAKING
The Shadow King sat high on his throne of skulls, watching over his kingdom. He looked down at his followers who waited quietly for his command. Smoke curled around him like a living thing.
Then—something changed.
The air suddenly felt colder than usual. The energy in the area shifted. It was heavy. It was strong.
I feel something… something powerful… something is coming, the Shadow King thought.
He stood up quickly. With a wave of his hand, the truth was revealed. Invisible creatures that had sneaked into the kingdom became visible.
Gasps filled the air. The Underworld's demons were ready to fight. They waited for just one word from their king.
Then one of the strange creatures rushed straight at the Shadow King.
It passed right through him—like he was a ghost.
"You fool," the Shadow said. "Do you even know where you are? Do you know who I am?"
The demons, seeing this, all attacked the strange creatures. They were fighting to protect their world.
The Shadow King stood still. No one could touch him.
More creatures tried to attack him. Then, something happened—his hood fell off, and dark smoke poured out of his body, covering the ground. Everything turned black. No one could see clearly anymore.
One by one, the creatures began to die—without even knowing what was killing them.
"We're losing!" one of them cried out.
Suddenly, a dark, clawed hand grabbed his leg and pulled him into the ground. He screamed, but it was already too late.
The others saw this and panicked. They opened a glowing portal to their own world and ran toward it, trying to escape.
But the Shadow King was everywhere.
There was no way out.
He moved toward the portal. But just then, a powerful light burst out of it—so bright it forced him to stop.
The Shadow King stepped back. He could not touch the light.
From the portal stepped the King of the Unknown World.
He laughed loudly. "You think you were winning? Get ready to lose everything. I am your worst nightmare. I came to destroy you and your world. Bow now, and maybe I will show a little mercy."
The Shadow King laughed too. His voice was deep and full of darkness.
"Fear? I do not feel fear. How will you fight someone you cannot even see? I am a ghost. A warrior who has never lost."
"You think I'm a fool?" the Unknown King said. "I came here knowing what you are. I still came. Don't you think I have a plan?"
"Either way, you die here!" the Shadow screamed. His body turned into black smoke and rushed at the Unknown King.
"You fool," the Unknown King shouted. As the smoke came closer, he pulled out a glowing sword made of fire and stabbed it into the ground.
A loud demonic scream filled the air. The black smoke around him turned red.
Then, a bloody, terrifying hand shot out of the ground and smashed the Unknown King's head into the earth.
He stood up slowly, blood on his face.
"Fight me like a true warrior!" he yelled. "Why do you hide behind shadows like a coward?"
"Oh, don't you understand?" said the Shadow. "You are not ready to see my true form."
Then, from the smoke, a powerful warrior stepped forward. He wore metal armor that was black as night. His sword leaked black smoke. His eyes glowed red like fire.
No one had ever seen this form and lived.
"You will die here," he said, "and so will everyone you brought with you. No one escapes my sword."
"Haha!" the Unknown King laughed. "You see, I knew I couldn't beat you. I am just a servant of the true master."
Then why did he come here if he knew he would die? the Shadow King thought.
"You must be wondering," said the Unknown King. "Why would I come here, knowing I can't win?"
He smiled darkly.
"I came to distract you… from the real danger."
What… what is he talking about? the Shadow thought.
Suddenly, the ground began to shake. The sky turned red, like blood was spilling from the clouds.
What is this?! What have you done?! the Shadow King screamed, his voice louder than thunder.
