A Few Days After the Dracula Case
Ron woke up early one morning. Still half-asleep, he glanced at himself in the mirror, pointed a finger, and muttered, "You. Yes, you. Why don't you remember anything, you ancient fool?"
He freshened up, checked on his businesses, and opened his laptop. After managing everything, he decided to step out for some fresh air. It was 5:30 a.m.
As he opened the front door, he noticed a small box sitting at his doorstep. It looked old—ancient, even. Ron looked around, but the street was empty. With no one in sight, he picked up the box and tried to open it. But no matter what he did, the damn thing refused to open. Frustrated, he gave up and left it outside.
Later that morning, around 8:00 a.m., as Ron was about to head out to one of his companies, he noticed the box was still there. But this time, a note was attached:
"Open it gently, with a little push of your Ki, you ancient fool."
"Is he picking a fight?" Ron thought then brought the box inside and followed the note's instructions.
To his surprise, the box opened easily. Inside, he found an old diary. Curious, he flipped straight to the last page. He didn't even start reading—it was the date that caught his eye.
The entry was dated 800 years ago.
The very same date Ron had gone into his long slumber… and eventually awoken just decades ago.
Shocked, Ron sat down. He abandoned his plans for the day and began to read.

Date: 20,000 years before "The Great Separation"
Dr. Thomas, real name: " ——— "
(the ink had smudged over the name)
was promoted to the position of Right Hand of the Watcher of the Universe.
The Watcher had a wife—renowned as the most beautiful woman to ever exist at the time.
Dr. Thomas secretly liked her, but he saw the Watcher as a brother. Yet, that woman had darker plans.
She tried to seduce Dr. Thomas… and made him betray the Watcher.
She used Dr. Thomas—and his best friend—for her schemes.
Eventually, her cover was blown. But instead of accepting blame, she twisted the story. She accused Dr. Thomas and his best friend, claiming they seduced her and plotted it all.
Dr. Thomas's best friend… was more than a friend. He was his other half.
Dr. Thomas had been so powerful from birth that he had split in half at the age of five. A phenomenon unique to his race.
He was the last of his kind. The rest had been wiped out.
Because the Watcher trusted Dr. Thomas, he received only a minor punishment. But his other half—his best friend—was brutally punished.
(This ties back to the earlier chapter—the man on the throne, wounded and , from whom Dr. Thomas took a hand and cried. That man… is his other half.)
Later, Dr. Thomas blackmailed the Watcher's wife and destroyed their entire kingdom.
How he blackmailed her is—
Just as Ron leaned in to read further, his phone rang. It was Locki and Carter.
They needed him—urgently.

Ron replied to Locki and Carter, "I'm really busy right now. Can't come. We'll talk later."
He hung up and turned his attention back to the diary. But as he opened it again… something felt wrong.
The words following "blackmail" were gone.
Confused, Ron flipped through the pages—
They were all blank.
Then, suddenly, black ink began to swirl on the paper. New words appeared.
"Long time no see, Ron."
Ron flinched back. "What…? How did—?"
The text shifted again, as if responding directly to him.
"Don't worry, Ron. This is my diary. You can only read it once a day. If you try again, the text will vanish."
Ron narrowed his eyes. "Who is this?"
More text emerged:
"There's nothing to worry about. You'll eventually learn everything—about the Watcher of the Universe… and Dr. Thomas."
"For I am… Black Heart. We'll meet soon."
The ink faded. The pages turned blank again.
Ron stared at the diary for a while, then sighed. "This is insane…"
Bored and a bit frustrated, he grabbed his phone and called his friends back.
After the call, Ron arrived at the hotel where Carter and Locki were already waiting.
Ron looked at them and asked, "So… why am I here?"
Carter simply pointed at Locki.
Locki grinned. "Breakfast's on me, brothers. I wanted to give you both a treat."
"A treat? For what exactly?" Ron asked, raising an eyebrow.
Locki just shrugged. "Something good happened. Let's just say I'm in a generous mood."
Locki just wanted to distract them from their grief.
"Well then, let's eat," Carter said with a smirk.
After placing their breakfast orders, the mood shifted as Ron leaned forward, his voice more serious.
"Have you guys ever heard of someone called… Black Heart?"
"Black Heart?" Carter echoed, his expression darkening slightly—like the name sparked something.
Locki shook his head. "Nope. Never heard of him."
Carter spoke again, slower this time. "Ron… remember when we were in that place called The Crack of Scenarios? In the second scenario, I saw a door. It had Black Heart written on it. That's all I know."
Locki frowned. "Whoever this guy is… he's not a threat, is he?"
"I don't know yet," Ron replied. He then told them everything—what had happened that morning.
"So let me get this straight," Locki said, trying to piece it together. "You found a diary outside your door. And inside it, there was a note that mentioned both Dr. Thomas and The Watcher of the Universe… together in time? And once you close it, you can't read it again until the next day?"
Ron nodded.
Carter leaned back in his chair, thoughtful. "And he told you… that he's Black Heart. But why did he call you Ricky Racon?"
Locki's eyes widened a bit. "Ricky Racon… That was the name I gave Ron to hide our identities when we traveled to the future. That planet… the one that was destroyed. That was our doing."
"Something's not adding up," Carter muttered, glancing around.
Just then, footsteps approached from behind. The three turned, expecting the waiter with their breakfast.
It wasn't.
It was DA.
"Long time no see, boys," he said with a crooked smile. "How are you all holding up?"
"This guy again," Carter whispered under his breath.
Ron exchanged a look with the others. Whatever was going on, it was getting bigger. He stood up.
"Let's talk outside."
