Scene 1: Mind-Controlled Duel
Carter attacked me, and I barely managed to block his strike. His eyes—white pupils with black sclera—were devoid of reason. He summoned his sword, dark and jagged, and charged again.
I conjured a blade of my own using Dr. Thomas's power. Sparks flew as our swords clashed. His strength outmatched mine—I could block him, but every time, I was pushed back. I turned to Sami.
"How do we cure him?" I asked as Carter lunged again, forcing me to deflect another blow.
Suddenly, a message appeared in the sky:
> "SCENARIO BOSS HAS APPEARED"
"THE PUNISHER"
"Punisher? Wasn't that the monster I fought in the first door?" I asked.
Sami shook his head. "No. That was just one of his servants—or a copy."
I nodded. "Then I'll hold off Carter. You deal with the boss." Sami sprinted off.
"Come on, Carter, fight back!" I shouted. "You're not the kind of guy who gets controlled this easily!"
I tried not to use my powers, hoping he wasn't using his either. Between sword clashes, I managed a punch here and there, trying to break the control. But then... I heard the voice—the thing speaking to him.
> "You should die here. If you do, I'll give you another life. A fresh start. One where you can finally be happy."
"Damn you!" I shouted, slamming my fist into his jaw. "You think another life will fix everything? What about your family? Your friends? You'll abandon them too?"
Carter grabbed my throat. I kicked him away and gasped for breath.
> "What does he know?" the voice continued. "He spent years in slumber. He forgot his loved ones. He's the root of all your pain. Abandon him."
I clenched my teeth. Who the hell is saying all this… and why do they know things I don't?
Scene 2: Sami vs. The Punisher
Sami hurled a fireball at the Punisher—but the beast moved with lightning speed and stabbed Sami with its claws. Only… it wasn't the real Sami. The image exploded, scorching the Punisher.
Roaring in fury, the Punisher split into multiple copies, each sharing a fragment of his power. Sami responded in kind, summoning after-images of his own.
The battlefield became a chaotic illusion—one real Sami hidden among illusions. The Punisher, catching on, detonated all his copies at once. The explosion shattered illusions and damaged the real Sami, who barely shielded himself in time.
As Sami lowered his barrier, the real Punisher appeared behind him—claws raised. But he froze.
Sami smirked. Fire surged from his body, glowing like a god of destruction.
"You'll learn today why the strongest don't fight me," he said.
He swept his hand downward—flames erupted and circled the area. Sami extended two fingers toward the Punisher.
Dozens of fire-axes materialized around them, striking from every direction. The Punisher screamed as his flesh and bones were incinerated, reduced to ash.
Scene 3: Escape and Revelation
> "THE SCENARIO BOSS HAS BEEN DEFEATED"
BY: "Sami Xzangel"
I summoned purple ghost-wolves using Dr. Thomas's power. They leapt at Carter. He dodged them all—except one. A single wolf struck him from behind and exploded.
The entire dimension shattered.
We landed back in the hallway where this all started. Carter lay unconscious.
Sami turned to me. "Let's head back."
"I want to see this through. I want to finish these Scenarios," I said.
Sami thumped my head. "Idiot. This is dangerous. We're not even in our universe anymore."
"What?"
"When you clear a Scenario, the exit doesn't take you home—it throws you into a new universe. Think about it. When you returned, didn't you see new doors?"
"…Yeah. Two new ones appeared out of nowhere."
"That's your proof. Each universe has 2 to 4 active doors. When you complete a Scenario, you and the old doors are moved to the next universe. It just looks like the same place."
My head spun. "Then who owns this house? What's really going on here?"
"This house only exists in our universe. The one you're seeing is a projection tied to a cosmic fracture called the Crack of Scenarios. Someone built it and split it across infinite timelines and realities."
I stared at him, stunned. "Who created it? And why?"
Sami looked away. "I don't know who the creator is… or why it was made. I don't even know who owns this house."
Before I could speak again, a familiar voice echoed in my mind.
> "Ron… please… help me."
It was Dream.
