Scene 1 – Carter: The Prime Dungeon
Carter stepped through the door.
It was the darkest place he had ever seen—no walls, no ceiling, just an endless void. He hovered at the edge of the threshold, staring into nothingness.
"This place… it's not even darkness. It's absence."
Concentrating his Ki, Carter created a narrow glowing pathway beneath his feet. With each step, the void pushed against his mind, testing him. Up ahead, a single door floated, pulsing with red light.
He walked toward it and opened it.
[SCENARIO 2 INITIATED]
"PRIME DUNGEON"
INSTRUCTION: Try not to fall under an illusion.
REWARD: Mental Barrier (Ability)
FAILURE: Death
"Another scenario? I already cleared the cursed army and the Cursed King. Where's my reward for that one?" he muttered, stepping into a world bathed in red.
Suddenly—
"Brother…?"
He turned. His breath caught.
It was her. His sister. Long dead.
She ran toward him, embraced him. His hands trembled as he held her close. Tears welled up.
But then she spoke.
"Brother… I'm not real. I'm an illusion."
"If you're not real… why are you telling me that?" he asked, confused, voice cracking.
"Because I have her memories. I remember what happened. I remember how much you loved her."
She smiled—tender and heartbreaking. A glowing door formed in the red mist beside them.
"Beyond that door is the real scenario. No one's returned from it. You still have time to leave."
Carter wiped his tears. "Just tell me your name."
She hesitated, then whispered, "Zelenia."
She vanished.
"Zelenia… that name. It was on one of the doors," Carter said, stepping forward.
He opened the new door.
[SCENARIO 2 HAS STARTED]
Scene 2 – Ron: Breaking the Mirror World
Ron raised his palm. A shimmering invisible barrier formed between him and their enemies—the mirror versions of himself and the werewolf ally.
"Stay behind it," Ron said. He teleported through the barrier with a flash of blue.
The mirror version of Ron barely had time to react.
CRACK!
A burst of lightning-blue energy exploded from Ron's fist, shattering the mirror Ron into glowing shards.
Behind him, the werewolf's dark copy lunged—
But the real werewolf was faster. His claws tore through the chest of his counterpart, ripping the heart out in one swift strike.
"Thanks for the help, man," Ron said.
"No—thank you. I owe you my life."
A new message appeared midair.
[FIND A WAY TO ESCAPE THIS DIMENSION]
The werewolf turned to Ron. "We can tear open space itself. If we stay longer, mirror versions of other people will show up. It'll only get worse."
Ron pulled out the magnifying glass Dr. Thomas had given him.
"Let's try this."
He focused, pouring energy into it. Two doors shimmered into existence. One for each of them.
They shook hands.
"See you again," Ron said.
The werewolf nodded. "You better survive."
They parted through their respective doors.
Ron emerged at the place he had first entered. He looked up.
"Sami?!"
The man stood waiting.
"Ron… where's Carter?"
Ron's expression tightened. "He hasn't come out yet. He went into another door."
Sami's face darkened.
"No… That door… That's one of the most dangerous dimensions in the system."
"We're going after him. You in?"
Sami nodded grimly.
They stepped through.
A floating door appeared again. They opened it—and fell.
They landed in a thick, alien jungle.
Towering creatures loomed in the trees. Giant reptiles, winged beasts, monstrous predators—prehistoric and unnatural.
A T-Rex roared and spotted them. Then another. And another. They were surrounded—and chased.
Ron and Sami sprinted.
"This is insane!" Ron yelled.
[DOES RON WANT HELP?]
"YES! YES, PLEASE HELP!" Ron screamed mentally.
[RON SHOULD WAIT]
"Wait?! What do you—"
The beasts closed in. Their shadows loomed.
Suddenly, the world glitched.
Scene 3 – Mind Break
They were pulled through ten dimensions in a flash—blinking through storms, fire, glass skies, shattered cities—until finally, space.
Stars. Silence. Floating debris.
Carter stood ahead, back turned, body tense. His head twitched.
Ron stepped forward, but Sami caught his arm.
"Don't. He's under mind control. This realm doesn't control the body. It twists the mind. Step forward, and your trauma becomes your reality."
"Then how do we save him?" Ron asked, heart racing.
Sami shook his head. "We don't. Not here. No one has ever completed this scenario. These Scenarios… they're infinite. Every one harder than the last. All you get is a reward and a harder death."
Ron clenched his fists.
"Then I'll do the impossible."
He sprinted toward Carter.
His vision began to blur.
Blackness.
Whispers.
Pain.
[MIND CONTROL ATTACKING YOU: DISMANTLED]
[ABILITY: MENTAL BARRIER – ACTIVE]
A pulse of light erupted around Ron's head—shielding his mind.
He reached Carter—
But Carter turned with glowing eyes—and attacked.
