The term "witch" is often associated with being lowly, wanton, and cruel. Most people believe that witches offer their souls, copulate with devils, and then bring plagues and curses to the land.
Roy thought of those eyes she saw just now. Although they only met for less than a second, she felt a deep fear and disgust. Her body lost control, and her consciousness was almost crushed to powder.
Who was watching her?
Could it be the legendary devil?
Roy examined the books on the table. She couldn't find the author's name, and more strangely, the bodily fluid stains on the title page and corners had disappeared. Flipping the pages forward was smooth, but trying to flip backward, she couldn't lift any page.
…Could it be there's some special seal that requires bodily fluid to unlock?
