Roy said nothing.
She motioned for Geoffrey to finish wrapping the bandage, asked the location of the washroom, and went to bathe. The shower in the washroom was not very good, sometimes releasing hot water and sometimes cold, leaving her skin red.
Roy quickly dried her body, found a pair of scissors on the sink, and cut off the blackened tips of her hair in front of the mirror. Just then, Geoffrey knocked on the door and handed in a dress, which was of an old style.
"It was my mother's clothing from before. It was never worn, just kept in a box," Geoffrey explained, "If you mind, I could go out to buy..."
Before he finished, Roy took it over: "Thank you."
She put on the dress, opened the door, and saw Geoffrey still standing outside, looking like he had something to say but couldn't.
"Where is Merry?" Roy asked.
Geoffrey pointed in a direction, "She likes to quietly bask in the sun. I came to check if you needed anything."
