Zhou Chengchen finished the call and turned around, only to see Xiao Rou had already come out of the shower and was drying her hair in her pajamas.
"Finished showering? Then it's my turn."
Zhou Chengchen took her pajamas and went into the bathroom. She showered quickly, but when she came out, Xiao Rou was nowhere to be seen. Turning her head again, she saw Xiao Rou standing on the balcony, seemingly on a phone call. The sliding door was closed, so Zhou Chengchen couldn't hear what she was saying.
But soon, Xiao Rou returned, holding her phone, with slightly red eyes but without tears. Her complexion wasn't good.
"Did he call you?"
Zhou Chengchen asked with certainty, and Xiao Rou didn't hide it and nodded.
"He apologized to me and wanted to reconcile."
"And you? What do you think?"
Xiao Rou's eyes were a bit watery, but she shook her head decisively: "Impossible."
