Synopsis
(Pinterest Cover) (MCU X Transformers, inspired by Forever is a Long Time Coming) GR-105 is many things: a seeker bot, part of the scientist caste during pre-civil war Cybertron, and a reincarnated human. Yeah, that last part you don't say to anyone out loud or at all, except to close loved ones, of which he had none. Thanks to his work, he never had the time to go looking for friends or anyone special in his life. Nope, he had to work twenty-four seven when he was barely graduating from university with an engineering degree, and even then, he was pretty sure he'd be denied with one more bad grade. So going from human tech to vastly more impressive alien tech was a...well, living nightmare as he had to catch up to quite a bit of it just to understand the basics. Not that I wasn't trying as well, Primus (Ye,p Primus instead of God now), I mean, just look at what happened to the last guy, put on permanent trash duty. So what's this I hear about the Kree Ambassadors coming to visit, I thought this was Transformers, not Marvel!

Chapter 1 - New Reality

*Location: Cybertron, Con Facility 30*

*Year: 400000 BC*

*1st POV*

I-I-I died, I remember dying, I think I was burned in a fire, with the smoke going down my lungs and choking the very life out of me. The thing was, though, I couldn't remember the pain, the feeling of my skin burning, or my lungs filling up with smoke. Which, I suppose, is a good thing, as I think most people would prefer not to remember, but I would like to know how. How was I still feeling something even though my body was gone, and if I could feel something, why was there nothing but darkness?

"Is this the one malfunctioning?" A voice from somewhere said, Why did it sound like they were talking to me.

"Yep, thought it would be a clean awakening, suppose to be one of the new scientists, so I don't know, maybe some of the data got corrupted halfway through." Ok, the voices were talking about me for some reason.

Which would explain whatever was happening to me at this point, I felt more metallic, oddly enough. Also, there was the fact that I felt a ton of new information flowing through me, or it was before I woke up, I guess. Meaning that whatever new body I was in was mechanical in nature, which brought up a whole lot of questions about whether or not machines had souls or if this was a special case, all kinds of moral quandaries for a later date.

"So what should we do, scrape them and move on, or reboot them?" the first voice asked.

"Naw, the system should be booting back up soon enough, well, according to the data pad at least, probably just a glitch in the system, no bigger." The second voice said as the two began to walk away with their metallic footsteps echoing.

It also turns out they were right, as I could feel my consciousness quickly fade away, being replaced by well flashing images and things I didn't understand.

*Two Hours Later*

Almost immediately after I blacked out, well, to me at least, I was finally able to open my eyes and see the outside world. I was in a gray hallway with a conveyor belt on the otherisde of me alongside various pieces of machinery I now recognised as welding tools, very complex and advanced ones though alongside a few specialized bits of equipment meant for screwing in or helping combine parts.

Which I quickly figured out were all around me, meaning that I was just created, and I also felt something at the back of my new body. Searching the back of my head, I quickly felt a metal tube on the back of my head and was about to pull it out before a voice stopped me, it was one of the voices from earlier.

"Woah, woah there GR-105, you don't want to do that, well not unless you wanna short circuit yourself," he said, and I was able to get a good look at them, they were bulky with a red and white color pattern and while he was bigger then the average human or any really, he also looked small if that was the right word.

"Alright, let's get this out of you properly. If you can please turn over, I can get this out before the next batch comes in." He said, and well,l I was by no means a medical expert, so I complied and turned over, revealing my back and getting a good look at myself while looking at the wall.

I was slender then him, not feminine in any way, but I was definitely built with a sleek design in mind, alongside two wings on my back and two smaller ones below them. I couldn't really tell from my reflection, but I think I had a mostly light grey design with a few black stripes added for cosmetics, I guess. Either way, I was definitely a what did they call them, seeker or whatever flying transformers were called.

"Alright 1,2, and-" That's when I felt the tube being yanked out of me alongside a sudden jolt of pain.

"Sorry about that, usually better to make sure the new cogs aren't expecting it, so tell me, are you feeling any form of discomfort at all in your joints or anywhere else?" I rubbed my head, turned back over, and went into the sitting position on the conveyor belt.

"I feel fine, although I think there's some leaks in my data, where am I?" I said as I stopped rubbing the back of my head, with the panel connecting the tube to my body closed up pretty fast.

"Well, disorientation is a common side effect for all new cogs, so nothing strange there, I am RX-400, a medical Cybertronian, and you are one of the newest members of the science caste." He said as he clicked away on a datapad, I think, it was a dark grey clipboard-like thing with a clear screen you can easily see on the back of it.

"Meaning you are meant to help advance any current or future bits of research into more advanced technology, or well, anything really, but it seems you were specifically built for...off-world experimentation and data gathering."

"So, after orientation, you should be assigned a designated colony world and almost immediately begin your job. Any questions?"

I raised one finger, but he quickly stopped me and handed me a small cube that seemed to be able to split into four parts.

"Unfortunately, I am not qualified to answer them, and they should all be answered at orientation before your assigned well, whatever your new function/assignment is. Hopefully it's somewhere good." He said quickly, leaving in a hurry as he continued to click away on the datapad, leaving me alone in this room.

Standing up, I was a little disoriented as I wobbled a little bit as I got used to my new body, and I tapped the small cube with it, quickly expanding into a datapad with strange symbols appearing on it, symbols I could understand. It was essentially welcoming to the world and explaining where I needed to go with an added map.

"Well, this should be fun." I said as I began to walk down the hallway going to wherever orientation was.
