Ever since suffering defeat at the hands of Uchiha Madara and Lin Xuan, Kaguya Ōtsutsuki had finally dropped her condescending attitude toward the people of the Shinobi World. After calming down, she realized that the Sage of Six Paths had given chakra to humanity, founded the Ninja Sect, and created a thousand-year legacy of shinobi arts. Over time, the shinobi world had developed a rich and complex system of techniques worth learning.
Although individual shinobi might not rival her power due to natural limitations, their endless stream of ninjutsu, taijutsu, and genjutsu dazzled her. This sparked a thought in her mind:
Maybe, if I master some of these useful techniques, I could catch Momoshiki and the others off guard one day.
That was why she now stood near Lin Xuan, seriously observing the various powerful shinobi unleashing their techniques. Lin Xuan didn't interfere. No matter how much Kaguya improved, she could never surpass him in power—not with the pace at which his strength grew. After this war, once he had collected ten billion reputation points, he'd reach a combat level even higher than when he used his Divine Battle Card.
While watching the battlefield, he turned to Konis, who was also observing closely, and said:
"Konis, keep watching. If you like any particular jutsu, just tell me—I'll find someone to teach you!"
Konis's eyes lit up with excitement.
"Really? That's amazing!"
She immediately focused even more intently on the battlefield.
Nearby, a few shinobi who had yet to engage in battle heard Lin Xuan's words and looked at him in surprise. Their first reaction was disbelief—they assumed he was just sweet-talking the angelic girl with wings. After all, in the ninja world, one's ability to learn jutsu was tied to their chakra nature and innate talents. Not everyone could learn just anything.
But then they thought about it again: Lin Xuan had already done the unthinkable—bringing them from the Shinobi World into this one. Compared to that, helping someone ignore chakra affinity and learn any jutsu didn't seem so impossible anymore. So, they said nothing and simply returned to watching the fight.
As time passed, the battle in the waters near Sabaody Archipelago grew increasingly fierce.
However, Fleet Admiral Sengoku's expression grew more and more grim.
Numerically, the Marines had a tremendous advantage. They had practically deployed all of their elite forces from HQ and even pulled in elites from branches around the world—tens of thousands strong.
In contrast, Lin Xuan's side had only a little over a hundred people.
Yet, these hundred or so people were holding back the Marine onslaught—and shockingly, not a single one of them had died or even been seriously injured.
"Damn it, what kind of monsters are these? Don't they get tired at all?"
Sengoku clenched his fists, his face dark as ever. These enemies fought as if they had limitless stamina. Even after all this time, they showed no signs of fatigue.
He stared at the battlefield, his heart growing heavier.
If things continued like this, even with massive sacrifice, they still might not win.
At the center of the battlefield—right in front of Lin Xuan's ship—Admiral Akainu was unleashing his Devil Fruit powers, bombarding them with magma attacks in an attempt to stop the ship head-on.
And naturally, he encountered resistance.
His original opponent was Hashirama Senju, but the magma powers of the Magma-Magma Fruit gave him an advantage over Hashirama, allowing him to suppress him briefly.
But the moment Uchiha Madara saw Hashirama being pushed back, he wasn't having it.
He stepped forward, activated his Susanoo, and with a chakra blade coated in Armament Haki, slammed Akainu away.
"Hey! Madara! What are you doing? He's my opponent!"
Hashirama shouted in protest.
He hadn't even gone all out yet; he was still testing Akainu's abilities.
Madara just responded coldly:
"Find yourself someone else. This guy's mine."
Without waiting for a reply, he drove Susanoo forward again and launched a fresh attack on Akainu.
"Tch…"
Hashirama shook his head helplessly. Then his eyes sparkled as he spotted another target: Aokiji.
At that moment, Aokiji was locked in battle with Tobirama Senju. Without hesitation, Hashirama charged in and attacked Aokiji directly.
"Tobirama, this one's mine. You go take care of someone else!"
Tobirama: "…"
You were just complaining about Madara doing the same thing. And now look at you!
Meanwhile, Admiral Kizaru had turned into golden light, weaving through the battlefield, delivering rapid support to the embattled Marines. With his Glint-Glint Fruit speed, he was nearly untouchable. Several shinobi barely had time to react before being blown away by his devastating kicks.
"Light-speed kick!"
He swept his leg, unleashing a beam of golden light that slammed into a ninja and saved a Marine rear admiral from certain death.
"Thank you, Admiral Borsalino!"
The rear admiral gasped in relief. Without Kizaru's help, he'd have been burned to death by enemy fire.
Kizaru didn't respond. He just scanned the battlefield with a bored expression.
This is getting way too annoying.
The enemy numbers were small, sure—but every one of them had absurd powers. Regular Marines couldn't handle them at all.
What was even weirder was…
He looked at the sand ninja he had just kicked. His body had been half-blown apart, yet there was no blood, and now his body was quickly regenerating…
