Gamma was silent, which was just as I expected.
"I need you to perform the healing ritual on a girl, and I need you to do it without my father's knowledge." I said to him. Although my voice was low, and my tone was polite, it wasn't a request, and he knew it.
"Why would I defy Alpha Magnus?" He asked. His voice shook a little to show his fear.
"How about because you care about your patients?" I asked, and then I winked at him. But he looked at me with confusion written all over his face.
"We should head to my quarters now. She's dying." I said, pulling him gently by the hand. But he withdrew his hand from my hold, and faced me.
"I will not defy Alpha Magnus." He declared, and I smiled. I was hoping he'd say that.
"Alright," I said resignedly, and turned towards the way I had come from. "I will just sneak into the healing house tomorrow morning, and poison every last one of your patients." I said loud enough for him to hear, and then I continued my walk.
