I stepped out of my bedroom after getting the things I would need, and then I headed for Avira's bedroom which was currently occupied by Thorne.
He made a jerky movement when he saw me the second time, and his eyes widened in fear when he noticed the items I carried.
I placed the items on the bed, drew the stool closer to him and sat down on it. Although I had a smiley face at the moment, I was in a rage, and I knew just what pain laid ahead of him.
I motioned for him to stretch out his left hand, and he did amidst trembling. I took his shaking hand in my right hand, and then I stretched out my left hand, and drew out a dagger from the other items I placed on the bed.
He withdrew his hand from my hold immediately, or tried to, but I held his hand firmly, and in one single movement, I plucked out the nail in his index finger.
Between the blood that poured out from the skin where the fingernail should be, and Thorne's scream, I didn't know which was more intense.
