Chapter Eleven: Operation Crossfire
INT. COALITION WAR ROOM – MORNING
The room buzzed with renewed energy. Maps, satellite feeds, and intelligence reports covered every surface. The coalition—now including NCIS agents Gibbs, McGee, and Bishop, alongside Navy Lieutenant Commander Samara Bishop—was gearing up for their first joint operation.
Walter stood at the head of the table, pointing to a location on the digital map. "This is where the rogue CIA cell is believed to be operating—a safe house outside the city. We have reason to believe they're planning another hit."
Gibbs nodded, his gaze sharp. "We move fast, hit hard, and keep it clean. No loose ends."
Paige glanced at Samara. "And what's your role in this, Lieutenant Commander?"
Samara's expression was steady. "I'm the Navy's eyes on the ground. I'll coordinate intel and extraction. But I'm here to support, not lead."
Penelope and Sylvester exchanged a look, their earlier budding connection grounding them amidst the chaos.
EXT. SAFE HOUSE – NIGHT
Under the cover of darkness, the coalition approached the target. Voight's tactical team secured the perimeter while NCIS agents and Navy operatives prepared to breach.
Inside, the rogue CIA operatives were unaware of the storm heading their way.
INT. SAFE HOUSE – CONTINUOUS
The coalition moved with precision. Walter and Happy disabled electronic defenses. McGee and Penelope coordinated cyber support. Gibbs and Voight led the tactical entry.
Suddenly, gunfire erupted.
EXT. SAFE HOUSE – NIGHT
A fierce firefight ensued. Samara covered the team's flank, her Navy training evident in every calculated move.
Inside, Paige and Olivia found crucial documents linking the CIA rogue cell to the cartel setup.
INT. SAFE HOUSE – LATER
With the operatives subdued and evidence secured, the coalition regrouped.
Gibbs looked around. "Good work. But this is just the beginning."
Walter nodded. "The deeper we dig, the more dangerous it gets."
Samara added, "And the more we need to trust each other."
Penelope smiled at Sylvester. "Looks like our little team just got a lot bigger."
Sylvester grinned back. "And a lot more complicated."
