Kalp is walking on a raw road after crossing some villages. By night, he reaches a big village, whose name is Cornwall. He is walking on the street of Market. There are many shops on the side of street. The streets and shops are lit by light crystal stone. Most of the people in this village cultivate Maize, because of this, village is covered with Maize crop. the village is near the demon region border.
On the market street, Maize is very common. There are so many wanted-posters on the wall. There are so many weapons stores, fruit and vegetable shops, meat shops and many other small shops. There is a small guild where people get the quest. There are some small rooms on the first floor and some cheap bars on the ground floor. Kalp enters in the Porky bar, it is very crowded. Then he meets the owner who is sitting at the reception. The owner is fat and short in height, his name is Porky.
'I need a room.' Kalp said.
'Okay sir, for how long?' Porky asked with a fake smile.
'Just for one night,' Kalp replied.
'Oh, 1 silver coin for without food and 1 silver and 40 copper coins for with food.' Porky said. Porky's fake smile vanishes with a stern look.
'Oh man, suddenly his behavior changed.' Kalp thought.
'I don't need food.' Kalp said and gave him 1 silver coin.
Porky gives a key to Kalp.
'First floor, room no. 4.' Porky said.
'Okay,' Kalp said and He goes to the first floor. Opening the door, he finds that the room is small with a single bed and one light crystal stone. The stone lights on when Kalp enters the room. Kalp puts his bag on bed and opens the window. Then he eats the food that Aunt Lily gave him and after eating he lays down on the bed.
'I hope, tomorrow I will get a ride to York city. Come to think of York city, I wonder what a lightning train looks like.' Kalp thinks, 'Well I'll definitely see it tomorrow if I can get a ride.'
Next day, Kalp reaches a carriage stand. There are some such carts here, which are pulled by two horses. There are two types of carriage, personal and public carriage. There are ten seats in the public carriage and six seats in the personal carriage. The Coachmen are shouting their destination name.
'York city, Caldecote village, personal carriage,' coachmen are shouting.
Kalp goes towards the coachman who is saying York City. Coachman is forty-five years old man, slim and short, with a white and black bread and disheveled white and black hair. His skin is black with many open pores. His name is Column.
'Excuse me, how much for York city?' Kalp asked.
'30 copper coins,' Column replies.
'Okay, when will you leave?' Kalp asked
'Within five minutes,' Column said.
After a few minutes, they depart. There are ten people in the carriage. There are two women, one is thirty years old and another is twenty-four years old. Both are with their husbands, one is thirty-two years old and the other one is twenty-five years old. Both of that young couple are hunters, their names are James and Lucy. Another couple is a normal family with one five-years-old boy. There are three men, one is holding a sword in his hand, his body is heavy, his skin tone is black, hair is short and age is twenty-seven years. Because of his extra-large physic, people are having difficulty in sitting. He is covering a very large area and his name is Footer. The other two men is normal merchants with white skin tone, blond hair, aged between twenty-four to twenty-eight years. One is an Asian white girl as the same age as Kalp with black long hair. She is Alice.
'Mom, when we will reach the city?' That boy asked
'Son, we will reach at night.' Boy's mom replied.
'Mom, it's too late. I want to go for pee.' That boy said
'Son, wait for a while then we will stop for a break.' Boy's mom said.
Then suddenly the carriage stops.
'What happened?' Boy's father asked.
'There is an ambush attack by goblins in front of carriage. ' Column said.'
'What?' Boy's father said fearfully.
'Don't fear. These are just a few goblins, I will handle them.' Footer said.
Kalp, Alice, Footer and both young couples get off the carriage. Footer runs towards the other carriage to help them but then suddenly, more goblins come out and they attack Kalp's carriage.
Goblins are green in color with short height of 100 cm to 120 cm. They have long pointed ears, long fingers in hands and feet, long noses and sharp big teeth but their two teeth are twice the size of the other teeth and canine teeth of lower jaw are coming out of their mouth towards the nose. They are wearing a head bone of an animal on their shoulder and a piece of cloth on their lower body. They are carrying a sword in their hands.
'Be on guard, more goblins are coming this way.' Alice said and shot the fire magic towards goblins.
Kalp takes out his sword from his bag.
'You go inside the carriage.' James said to Column.
James, Lucy and Alice are fighting with magical weapons and Kalp is fighting with his sword. Kalp is initially conflicted, as he had never killed anyone before. When Kalp tries to kill a goblin, he hesitates and misses the chance to kill so because of this goblin gets a chance to attack Kalp but Alice saves him by killing goblin before goblin can attack him.
'What are you doing? Do you want to kill yourself?' Alice says angrily.
'I am sorry.' Kalp says and attacks the goblin. He kills him with his closed eyes.
After killing a lot of goblins, all the other goblins run away.
'Thank you so much for saving my life.' Kalp tells Alice, but she ignores Kalp and sits back in the carriage.
'Kid, looks like you have killed someone for the first time today.' James said.
'Yes.' Kalp said.
'It is okay kid. You will also get used to it.' James said.
Footer comes back to the carriage and everyone starts moving.
'I'm James and she is my wife Lucy.' James said to Kalp.
'Kalp.' Kalp said
'Nice name.' James said.
'Are you both hunters?' Kalp asked
'Yes, actually we were. Now,we are going to York city for starting a new life.' James said
'Okay.' Kalp said.
'Where are you going?' James asked.
'Capital for entrance exam to the academy of knight and magic.' Kalp said and after hearing this, Alice looks at him and immediately turns her face away.
'That's great, All the best.' James said.
'Thank you.' Kalp said.
Alice looks at him, but when Kalp sees her, she immediately turns her face.
