Finally opening his eyes, Arthur was blinded by a blinding light while trying to cover it with his palm.
Looking up, he was met with the faces of some strangers in soccer kits checking his condition.
'I am on a soccer field?'
Prompting himself up, he nods to his so-called teammate while thinking about how he ended up here.
But he had no memory of such a place. As he looked around, something caught his eye.

A striking youth with white hair and another one with purple hair in a bun were the only ones Arthur recognised from a popular manga named Blue Lock he once read.

The free kick was taken from about 50 yards as everyone was ready to continue the match, waiting for referee whistle.
The two stars of this match, Nagi and Reo, were in two different spots. Reo in the box and Nagi on the half line of the field, not even bothered by the free kick.

The free-kick taker sent a lobbed pass right towards the box.
As the ball seemed to slow down in the air, Arthur looked around, seeing the other player tense beside Nagi, who was waiting on the half of the field, bored, probably for a pass or a rebound.
'This feeling is so strange.. what should I do? The ball will fly right above me."
"I know," A small whisper from Arthur disturbed Reo, who was pressing him as he jumped.

Extending his leg high, Arthur was able to trap the ball, to the horror of Reo, who was still holding onto him.
But Arthur knew the moment he started to lose momentum and descend, he would fall and lose control.
He wasn't a prodigy like Nagi to be able to turn mid-air and shoot, so he opted for an easier solution.
Even though it was not a 100% guaranteed goal, who cared? The adrenaline was too high as he could hear his own heart pounding.
Letting gravity take him down, he arched his left foot as his vision was upside down, aiming at the left side of the goal post.
A BICYCLE KICK
The ball flew smoothly right into the left top corner of the goal above defenders and teammates' heads.

The high-pitched sound came as the crowd was screaming.
The goalkeeper could only watch as the ball entered the goal with a shocked expression; he wasn't ready for such an unpredictable shot.
Not just a goal, the goalkeeper, everyone was stunned at Arthur's goal as the gravity finally dragged him to the ground, hitting the fake grass.
All his teammates jumped on top of him to celebrate his shocking goal while Reo still looked stunned at the ball.
"Too bad, even tho the goal was incredible, you're still not on the level of my Nagi's genius."
Reo whispered slowly to himself as he made his way to Nagi.
After his teammates finally helped him get up from the grass, a bright smile appeared on his lips.
The first time he felt such an adrenaline rush from a soccer goal. It was incredible.
