Chapter 1 - Trapped in His World

Sera Noir was an innocent girl living with her aunt and cousins because her parents had died in an accident.

She lived a miserable life—treated like a maid by the very people who were supposed to care for her.

Every day, she was forced to sell flowers, yet she never saw a single cent from her labor. Her aunt took it all.

That morning, Sera woke up earlier than usual to clean the house and prepare breakfast. Her stomach churned with hunger.

She gathered the courage to speak. "A-auntie, may I eat something first? I haven't eaten since yesterday…"

Her aunt snapped, "No. You won't get any food today. Go to work and don't bother me!" as she shoved Sera out the door.

Pale and weak, Sera dragged herself to the flower shop. She barely had the strength to lift the bouquets.

Vince Reviano, hidden in a car nearby, watched her silently. He had been obsessed with her since their first encounter.

He was a ruthless mafia boss and a powerful CEO—but when it came to Sera, he was dangerously possessive.

He knew everything about her mistreatment. But he hadn't acted—until now.

Sera suddenly collapsed on the sidewalk, the world spinning into black.

Without hesitation, Vince rushed from his car. His calm demeanor cracked as he swept her limp body into his arms.

"Sera…" he whispered, eyes dark with fury and worry.

He carried her into his sleek black car, giving sharp orders to his driver. They sped off, away from the city's noise.

At his secluded mansion, Vince carried her into a lavish bedroom and laid her gently on the bed.

He stared at her pale face. Something in him stirred—rage, guilt… something dangerously close to tenderness.

"Bring food. Now," he told a servant, who immediately obeyed.

When the food arrived, Vince returned to the room. Sera stirred faintly, her eyelashes fluttering open.

Confused by the ornate ceiling, she tried to sit up. That's when Vince reached out and took her hand.

"You're awake," he said softly, though his grip was firm. She flinched.

"W-who are you? Where am I?" she asked, trembling.

"Safe. With me," Vince replied. "You fainted."

He lifted a bowl of warm porridge. "Eat this. You need strength."

Her eyes widened at the intensity in his voice. She reached for the spoon, but her hands shook.

"I'll feed you," Vince said. His tone left no room for refusal.

As he brought the spoon to her lips, her stomach growled in betrayal. She ate, a tear falling down her cheek.

Vince wiped it away with his thumb. "You don't have to go back," he murmured. "You belong to me now."
