Chapter 1 - Beginning

It was the beginning of the day... Erik plunges into an unknown world.

On one fateful day, a hole appeared under his feet. A deep, dark hole that seems to stare back if you stare at it.

Erik had a wonderful life, yet he was sucked into an abyss with many question and no answer.

It felt suffocating, like his lungs were full of water, yet he could breathe normally. It feels so uncomfortable in the dark abyss...

Erik didn't know how many seconds, minutes, or even hours had passed... He wandered through the void with only his voice in his head, screaming.

"Save me!"

"Please save me!"

Yet every time he shouted, no one was there to answer him

Eventually, he stopped shouting and let himself wander through the void.

Suddenly, he saw something white approaching him... It was glowy.

The white glob covered Erik's body from top to bottom, leaving no spot untouched as he cried for help, yet his voice didn't come out.

'Help! Anyone... Please!'

He struggles under the pressure of the white blob while it envelops him fully from top to bottom until everything turns white for him.

There was light everywhere until q vision finally appeared, although a bit blurry... Finally, he can feel his voice coming out.

"Help!"

His hand reached out in an instinct as he finally realized he wasn't in a void anymore. It appears to be a gigantic forest all around him.

Countless large trees that reach about 3 male adults in height.

"W-what?..."

Suddenly, a wave of pain overcame him, and he let out a grunt.

"Hah... Fuck, what the hell..."

He looks down at his bleeding stomach and there's an arrow piercing his stomach with a trickle of blood leaking out of it...

Fortunately, it wasn't that deep and the blood dried out a little. At least he could last a couple of hours.

Everything seems blurry as he couldn't recall any memory at all. Only the memory from his modern life. Not that his modern life is any better.

He looked around him for anything with his vision finally returning to normal. He saw a trail of blood from behind him...

"Was I running away from something? Fortunately, that something is nowhere to be seen."

He let out a sigh and pointed out what he should do now...

'I should at least find a shelter for now but I'm feeling hungry ugh'

His body didn't feel starved yet there was something in the back of his mind screaming for food. The voice has been ringing nonstop since earlier.

The only choices he had were to follow the blood trail behind him. He won't know where it would take him, but he is determined to find something to eat.

'How long has it been?... Ah, there's finally something.'

He thought in his mind because it had been 3 minutes following the blood trail. He saw a deer nearby with an arrow deep in its legs and disabling its ability to walk.

The deer is lying on the ground with its chest puffing up and down... It doesn't seem to last long anyway but the voice in Erik mind is screaming even louder for food.

'Fuck! Stop shouting..'

"In my head!"

It was unbearable for Erik to handle the voice as he quickly ran to the disabled deer. His hand reached in an instinct and something white came out of his palm

It was glowingly white as the white blob quickly gobbled up the disabled deer. In the second, the deer was gone.

There wasn't even a trace of the deer and the white blob returned into Erik's body. The wound Erik had slowly started to heal as he pulled the arrow out.

Miraculously, the wound slowly closed up on its own.

"Wow... This is... Surprising"

He couldn't hide his shock seeing his wound healing at an unimaginable rate compared to his modern world. He still doesn't know what the white blob is and why it's residing in his body.

The white blob seems to stay dormant inside his body for now...

'Hah, where am I?... I should find a shelter. Hmm... The voice finally calmed down.'

He feels lighter like his body is faster and stronger than before. He looked over the spot where the deer used to be... It must be from the white blob.

Shhhh

Suddenly, there was a loud whistle sound from a joint in the forest. An arrow travels through the air, aiming at Erik, but his reflexes react quickly.

He twisted his body last second to avoid the arrow, and the arrow missed him by a finger's length. He turned around and used the strength in his leg to run into the woods.

He could hear many footsteps from behind catching up to him.

"Fuck fuck! What are they and what do they want?"

Erik quickly side-stepped to the left and turned direction quickly. The forest is full of big trees, making it easier to make them to lose track of Erik.

After a while, Erik didn't hear any footsteps as he land won't he ground out of breath. He had used every energy he had as the situation pushed him to go past his limits. Fortunately, the energy from the white blob helps immensely.

For now, his eyes want to shut themselves...

"Ugh... Why am I so tired?.."

He didn't know why, with his vision slowly getting blurry. He saw a figure shaped like a woman... Like an hourglass shape, but his blurry vision couldn't make out who she was.

Then his vision turned black and his head fell on the grass floor. He didn't know what would happen as he returned into he void.

The dark abyss that always consumed his entire being before he came into this unknown place. For now, he wants to rest as he lets himself wander through the void once again...
