After the Summit War, the Undying Legion's Bounties Skyrocketed!
Chiyu's bounty soared from 3 billion straight to 4 billion berries!
That puts him at #4 in the world—only behind the late Whitebeard (5 billion), Kaido (4.6 billion), and Red-Haired Shanks (just over 4 billion).
It's clear the World Government now sees Chiyu as just as dangerous as the Four Emperors—maybe even more.
Zephyr the Black Arm jumped from 2 billion to 2.5 billion.
Boa Hancock now has a 1.2 billion bounty.
Trafalgar Law is at 1.1 billion.
His is slightly lower than Hancock's because his crew is small. Hancock, after all, rules an entire island.
Smoker: 800 million → 900 million
Hina: 780 million → 800 million
She didn't fight in the Summit War, stayed back to guard HQ.
Franky saw the biggest spike: from around 100 million → 700 million!
Thanks to the debut of the War God battleship, he became a massive threat overnight.
Other key commanders:
Blade: 250M → 300M
Box: 180M → 200M
Barbara: 120M → 150M
Baby 5: 230M → 280M
Ain: 220M → 270M
Bins: 160M → 200M
Shuzo: 250M → 300M
Even Nami: 50M → 80M
Total bounty across the Undying Legion's top brass: ~15 billion berries, nearly double their previous 8 billion.
That kind of number officially puts them in the same league as the Four Emperors' crews—if not higher.
Still, as Chiyu himself says: when it comes to top-tier combat strength, he fears no one. But in terms of raw manpower? They're still far behind the likes of the Emperors, the Navy, and the Revolutionary Army.
Besides Chiyu himself, the Undying Legion includes:
Former Admiral Zephyr
Ex-Warlords Hancock and Law
Elite former Marine officers: Smoker, Hina, Blade, Box, Barbara, Ain, Shuzo, Bins, etc.
Even so, their total headcount hovers around 10,000—way below Emperor-scale numbers, let alone the Navy.
…
Chiyu's strategy against Kaido was simple: no full-scale war—just a head-on strike with elite firepower.
He personally led a handpicked squad of absolute powerhouses, along with 1,000 top-shelf Undying troops, heading straight for Wano.
They only took two ships:
Chiyu's flagship, the Uchiha
Franky's behemoth, the War God
That was more than enough.
Any more people would just slow them down or attract unnecessary trouble.
Wano is one of the most powerful nations in the New World—but also one of the most isolated. It doesn't trade, it doesn't talk, and it never joined the World Government. To outsiders, it's practically a mystery box.
But Chiyu? He knew everything.
Wano had already become Kaido's playground—shared with the tyrant Orochi.
Kaido was running military factories non-stop.
Caesar Clown and Doflamingo were just one part of a massive production chain.
The land was choking in smog, corruption, and cruelty—a living hell.
As for Orochi, though he was technically the shogun, he hated Wano with a passion. He enslaved the people, wasted their resources, and basically tried to destroy the country from the inside.
Naturally, life for Wano's people was unbearable.
And even if the outside world knew all this, there wasn't much anyone could do.
Kaido's strength aside, Wano's geography made it almost impossible to invade.
Huge waterfalls surround it like natural walls.
Without Wano's permission, no ship can climb them.
The borders are guarded by elite forces.
But Chiyu had been to Sky Island before. His ships, thanks to Franky's engineering, were outfitted with foldable wings perfect for scaling waterfalls.
On the way, Chiyu laid out everything he knew—especially the info on Kaido's crew:
Kaido himself
His All-Stars: King the Wildfire and Queen the Plague
The Tobi Roppo (Flying Six)
The Headliners, Numbers, Gifters, and more
It was practically an open-book test.
"Knowledge wins battles," Chiyu told them.
"If we know everything and they know nothing? That's a fight we control."
Still, he reminded them: the Beasts Pirates are no joke. Be careful.
The two warships began approaching Wano's seas…
…
Meanwhile, on Onigashima...
Kaido—one of the Four Emperors, the "strongest creature alive"—was busy partying, chugging booze and tearing into meat, surrounded by geisha and music.
Beside him: King and Queen, his most trusted lieutenants.
But Jack the Drought, who had been sent to scout Chiyu's strength, was still missing. Kaido was starting to get annoyed.
Then, a bat-faced Smile user burst into the room.
"Kaido-sama! B-Bad news!"
Kaido, towering like a demon, set down his bowl. "What is it?"
"Jack… Jack has been killed by Uchiha Chiyu!"
The music cut out.
All the geisha screamed and ran.
Kaido exploded with rage—smashing his sake bowl into pieces.
"WHAT DID YOU SAY?!"
The scout trembled.
"Jack ran into Chiyu near Punk Hazard. They fought. Chiyu beheaded him. It was brutal…"
Kaido roared:
"Uchiha Chiyu! You took out Caesar and Doflamingo—killed my cashflow and shut down my Devil Fruit line! Now you killed Jack?! This is war!"
"I'll catch you myself and make sure you beg for death!"
King and Queen traded tense glances.
"We'll avenge Jack, of course," said Queen. "But this guy... he's bolder than we thought. He knew Jack was just testing him, and still took him out—publicly."
King added, "I've heard rumors: Chiyu's a lunatic. Once he sets his mind on killing, no one can stop him."
"Maybe we should strike first," Queen offered, "wipe out Chiyu and his army before they dig in."
Kaido hesitated.
Despite being one of the Four Emperors, he'd gotten comfortable ruling Wano. He didn't move unless it was necessary. He didn't want a full war unless the payoff was worth it.
His dream: an army of Devil Fruit users.
Slowly but surely, that dream was becoming reality.
Kaido might look like a brute, but he wasn't dumb. He knew the post‑Summit War world was chaotic. Whitebeard's death left a vacuum. Marco was trying to hold things together, Ace was back, and Jinbe had joined them.
But Kaido knew: Whitebeard had been the soul of that crew. Without him? They were no longer truly an Emperor‑class threat.
Especially since they were now locked in a death match with Blackbeard's crew.
Sooner or later, one of them would fall.
Kaido planned to swoop in and take the spoils.
But fighting Chiyu now? Even if he won, the cost would be massive—and would only make the other Emperors stronger.
Still… just as he was thinking—
Another scout burst in.
"Kaido-sama! A warship has been spotted near Wano's outer waters! It looks like… Uchiha Chiyu's ship!"
Kaido's face twisted.
"What?! I haven't even moved yet and he's already at my doorstep?!"
The Beasts Pirates exploded with rage.
"Kill them!"
"Avenge Jack!"
"Chiyu's gone too far!"
Queen snarled: "He's got a death wish if he thinks he can invade Wano!"
King said coldly, "Then let's grant it."
Kaido bellowed: "So be it! You want hell? I'll show you hell! Prepare the army—full deployment!"
"Yes, Kaido-sama!"
He turned to King. "Go give our guest a warm welcome."
"Understood," King replied, grinning.
…
Back at the waterfall…
Chiyu's ships reached the massive wall of water cloaked in sea mist.
To any other crew, it looked like an impassable nightmare.
But Chiyu's team? Veterans of the Sky Island route. Franky's tech had equipped both ships with deployable wings to climb the waterfall.
At Chiyu's command, the ships began the ascent.
Then—
A screech echoed from above.
Everyone looked up—and their jaws dropped.
"Is that… a dinosaur?" Franky shouted.
"No," Law corrected. "A Pteranodon. That's King the Wildfire—Ancient Zoan user."
King flew high above them, transformed, and sneered:
"You really thought you could invade Wano?"
"Die!"
He dive-bombed them with a crushing kick—the same attack that once knocked Big Mom's ship off the falls.
But—
They were ready.
Zephyr smirked. "You again? Stay buried where you belong."
"Exploding Rock!"
BOOOOM!!!
A volcanic blast burst from his right arm, lighting up the sky.
King dodged last second—but the cliff above shattered from the force.
Zephyr, Ain, and Bins stood ready on the War God.
King redirected, now heading straight for Chiyu's ship—the Uchiha.
But before he could get close, Boa Hancock and Trafalgar Law stepped forward.
"You're not getting near our captain," Hancock said, blowing a kiss.
A massive pink heart appeared—then shattered into a barrage of magic arrows.
"Slave Arrow!"
Law drew his sword and launched a green beam of compressed energy—
"Gamma Knife!"
Both attacks struck like a storm—forcing King to dodge once more.
But that's when Franky cracked his knuckles.
"Flying around like a mosquito… You came alone? Then you came ready to die."
"Fire!"
"WAR GOD, OPEN FIRE!"
