Chapter 254 - Chapter 254-90: Summit War (2)

The war at Marineford had erupted into full-blown chaos. Both sides clashed like two unstoppable machines of destruction. Blood flooded the battlefield.

And at the center of it all, Whitebeard—Edward Newgate—stood tall like an immovable titan, completely unshaken.

Amid the carnage, Uchiha Chiyu made his move.

In a flash, he shot straight toward the top of the execution platform like a lightning strike tearing through the sky.

A deafening boom followed—CRACK! Lightning exploded through the air, blitzing toward the platform at a speed no one could track.

Zephyr felt a chill crawl down his spine.

"Chiyu…"

Even Ace frowned, stunned. "That's Uchiha Chiyu?! The guy who stormed from East Blue and shook the entire world?!"

But there was one other man standing on that scaffold—

Iron Fist Garp, the Navy's living legend.

He'd been watching the battlefield from above, arms folded, unreadable.

But the second he spotted Chiyu coming in like a thunder god—

He moved.

"Heh… you trying to break Zephyr out just like that?"

"Yeah—Not gonna happen."

Garp launched into the air like a missile. His body, precise to the millimeter, collided head-on with the lightning form of Chiyu.

His arm was already coiled in black Haki, fist drawn back.

"GALAXY IMPACT!"

BOOOOOOM!

The raw power behind it was unreal.

Even Chiyu couldn't take it head-on. The hit sent him flying like a cannonball, smashing him into the ground below.

When it came to pure hand-to-hand power, Garp was in a league of his own.

No Devil Fruit. No tricks.

Just brutal, unrelenting Haki and a body forged like iron—literally trained by punching warships.

Even in the Naruto world, guys built like this were rare.

Chiyu crashed, but before anyone could blink, he stabilized midair, his body crackling with lightning again.

He smirked. "As expected from the Navy's hero—Garp. That strength is no joke."

Garp laughed. "Uchiha Chiyu! We finally meet!

You took that punch and bounced back like it was nothing… you're a monster too, huh?"

He wasn't bragging—he just knew what his fists could do.

There weren't many alive who could take a full-power punch from him and stay standing.

That same punch could level buildings and crater an island like a meteor strike.

But Chiyu didn't flinch.

"Move."

Garp chuckled. "You know that's not happening."

"You were Navy once. You know where I stand."

"It doesn't matter anymore," Chiyu said coldly. "I'm getting Zephyr out."

Garp nodded. "I respect your loyalty. But I've got my duty too."

"Then let's end this with fists."

He roared again. His entire fist turned pitch-black, oozing with Haki that radiated pure dread.

"AAAAAHHHH!"

He blasted into the sky once more, fist raised. Same move. Same hit.

That was Garp's style—no tricks, just raw power.

It was that simplicity that made him a nightmare for Devil Fruit users.

Chiyu scoffed, then drew his blade—

Shusui, the legendary black katana.

In a flash, it was wrapped in his own Haki—now infused with crackling black lightning.

He slashed.

BOOM. The blade tore open the air itself and aimed straight for Garp.

"Huh? That slash…"

Garp's eyes narrowed. That sword aura—he'd seen it before.

Only one man had ever made him feel that kind of pressure:

Dracule Mihawk, the world's greatest swordsman.

And now… Chiyu's technique was right up there with him.

But Garp didn't back down. His iron fist met the blade head-on again.

BOOOOOOM!

The sky exploded.

The entire island shook. The sea roared with tidal waves.

Garp was rocked midair, forced back—but Chiyu wasn't done.

He slashed again. A second wave.

Garp slammed his foot against the air and launched back in.

The two clashed again—fist and blade, lightning and steel.

But at the same time…

Chiyu had already cast a jutsu.

A shadow clone appeared, also in lightning form—blasting toward the execution platform from a different angle.

"That… that's—!" Sengoku, watching from the command post, paled.

"GARP! WATCH OUT! HE USED A CLONE!"

"What?!"

Garp turned just in time to see a second bolt of lightning crashing toward the scaffold.

It was going straight for Zephyr.

He roared in frustration—but the real Chiyu was still right in front of him. He couldn't break away.

"Damn it… If I let that prisoner go, my reputation's finished!"

Gritting his teeth, Garp ripped a cannonball from inside his coat—

And hurled it like a meteor at the scaffold.

"METEOR FIST!"

It looked like a toss—but it had the full force of Garp's monster strength.

That thing could punch a hole through a mountain.

The lightning clone didn't even blink.

It zipped sideways, dodged cleanly, then—

BOOM!

Several bolts of lightning-laced blades erupted from it, piercing the execution guards clean through.

Then, it sliced through Zephyr's restraints.

Zephyr was free.

But his hands were still bound in Seastone cuffs.

He wasn't a Devil Fruit user, so he hadn't lost his strength, but without the key—probably on Garp—he couldn't get them off.

Chiyu thought for a moment, then shifted.

He headed toward Ace.

Freeing Ace would send the battlefield into total chaos.

Chiyu didn't care about Ace—he'd kill him without blinking.

But freeing him now? That would plunge the war into complete disorder. And that was exactly what he needed.

The clone slashed through Ace's ropes.

Garp's rage exploded.

"You bastard! You want to humiliate the Navy in front of the entire world?!"

"I WON'T LET YOU!"

He roared and charged toward the platform—ignoring Chiyu's real body.

Which meant—

SLASH!

He took a full-on Haki-infused, lightning-powered sword strike across his back.

Blood gushed like a fountain. The wound was brutal, jagged, gaping.

"GARP!!"

Sengoku and Vice Admiral Tsuru shouted in horror.

But Garp gritted his teeth, bore the pain, and forced himself onto the platform—

Just in time to punch Chiyu's shadow clone straight into smoke.

Gone.

But—

Zephyr just laughed.

"Later, Garp!"

He leapt off the platform.

Garp grabbed Ace, but it was too late for Zephyr—he was already falling.

Chiyu's real body shot in, lightning-fast, and caught him midair.

Below, the Undying Legion erupted in cheers. The battlefield rang with thunderous roars of victory.

The Navy, stunned and slumped, realized the unthinkable had happened:

The war had barely begun—and the prisoner was already rescued.

Sengoku's face twisted in fury.

"Don't panic!" he shouted. "Zephyr's still cuffed—he's not going anywhere. He can't even fight. He's just dead weight!"

"Pacifistas… DEPLOY!"

With a thunderous roar, monsters emerged from all sides—

Mass-produced humanoid weapons modeled after Bartholomew Kuma.

Pacifistas.

Each one had a near-indestructible body. They were built with Kuma's Paw‑Paw powers…

And even infused with Admiral Kizaru's Light-Light Fruit—capable of firing devastating laser blasts.

Seven or eight of them stormed the battlefield, unleashing hell on the Whitebeard Pirates and the Feathered Army.

"Pressure Cannon!"

"Mega Push Cannon!"

"Ursus Shock!"

"Laser Beam!"

These weren't just weapons. They were precision murder machines.

Allies and enemies clearly identified. No wasted fire. Just cold, robotic destruction.

The pirates were getting shredded.

"PACIFIST?! BULLSHIT!"

Franky bellowed. "They're freakin' DEATH MACHINES!"

"Time to show 'em what I've got! GENERAL FRANKY!"

He transformed—his giant mech form bursting forth. Equal in size to the Pacifistas, he clashed with them in a clash of titans.

Baby 5 screamed, "Let 'em taste THIS!"

"Missile Girl!"

She turned into a missile and launched herself into the Navy ranks—

BOOOOM!!

Marines were sent flying. One Pacifista was knocked flat.

Smoker, cigar clamped in his teeth, spread thick smoke to obscure the enemy's vision. The machines faltered, confused.

Behind him, Elephant Sword Braid acted fast—his blade transformed into a massive elephant cloaked in Haki.

He slammed it down with explosive force—

BOOM!

A Pacifista was crushed like a bug.

Watching the battle, Whitebeard nodded. "Chiyu's men… they're damn good."

"GURARARARA!!"

His crew rallied, unleashing hell. Soon, they were pushing back the Pacifistas.

Elsewhere—

Marco the Phoenix was in a fierce aerial clash with Admiral Kizaru.

Marco burned with blue flames, launching wave after wave—but Kizaru dodged them all at light-speed.

Then he crossed his arms.

"Yasakani no Magatama!"

A hailstorm of light rained down.

Marco didn't dodge—he couldn't risk his allies getting hit.

Instead, he took the full barrage with his own body, shielding everyone.

Meanwhile—

Diamond Jozu fought Aokiji. His defense was incredible, but the Admiral's ice slowly wore him down. He was holding on—but only just.

And Vista, the swordmaster, was being demolished by Akainu.

Magma had scorched deep, brutal burns across his body. Blood poured from every wound.

But he didn't stop.

He kept swinging, panting hard, knowing that if he fell—Akainu would go straight for Whitebeard, and Sengoku would finally be free to act.

They were already outmatched. All they could do was hold the line.

But Akainu had had enough.

"You're boring."

"I've got no interest in wasting time on you."

"My target…"

"Is WHITEBEARD!!!"

With a furious roar, he erupted.

"Dog Biting Crimson Lotus!"

His magma arm twisted into the shape of a snarling lava beast—and lunged straight for Vista.

Vista couldn't react fast enough. The beast bit down—CHOMP!

His arm was ripped off. Lava scorched the wound.

"AAAAARGH!"

He collapsed in agony.

And Akainu broke free.

He charged across the battlefield, straight for the strongest man in the world.

"WHITEBEARD!"

"DIE!!!"

"DARK HOUND!!!"
