George laughed. "You can't even take care of your own clothes!" Emily, a soft-spoken neighbor, intervened. "Hey, George, that's not nice. The poor guy's just having a bad day." Kevin snickered. "Poor guy? More like careless guy!" George added, "Yeah, he's always losing things." The group teased the young man good-naturedly. Kevin said, "Hey, at least he's consistent. Remember that time he lost his book in the market?" The group erupted into laughter. As they walked through the alleys, George whispered to the young man, "You've got a long day ahead of you friend,if you know what I mean" The young man shot him a look, knowing George was just trying to get a rise out of him. The group continued on their way, laughing and joking together.
