Chapter 6 - crucifix chapter 5. indifference

allen remembered what it was like to run for safety.

threatned and hunted.

humans were scattered like rats after their arrival.

he didn't know much about the angels.

rather than the fact they could fly.

and they were fast too.

killing their victims or targets in a matter of seconds.

he'd seen a dead angel too.

his city had been invaded by them. however.

the nephlims spirits did the most damage.

their numbers were unlike anything he'd seen and they always moved in the dark.

their glowing black eyes made it possible to recognize them as possessed humans.

it wasn't long before east angles was destroyed and abandoned.

half the population of that region had died and it was due to the nephlims which came in to invade.

the other half must have ran in search for a new home.

allen and his mother was among the other half.

but unluckily for her. she was killed before reaching the walls.

a group of vigilantes had been on the run and she'd seen them running from the possessed humans which wanted to eat them alive.

she was in the desert.

their last stop had been a shut down factory which specialized in making bread. sealed brevages and bottle water.

allen remembered her running with him on her back.

she was trying to catch up with the vigilante trucks as they were trying to run away from the possessed humans which were in the area.

it was night time.

these creatures were superhuman.

they could be inhabited by devil's which gave them power and strength.

they were once gaints whose size were higher than the wall.

in ancient times.

their homes were known to be bigger.

huge walls.

temples.

buildings.

God might have rid them off the face of the earth.

however. the angels proved to be darkened by their desires.

after the flood. descendants of these inhuman creatures had been found.

it was chaos.

his mother had died but she'd saved him from being torn apart by devil's.

the city of Ell was celebrating it's success in finally building a fortified wall which was made of metalic iron.

it's weight was heavy. especially the amount of metal involved.

allen often wondered how the city had survived all this while without having a fortified steel wall.

the leaders of the city wasn't sparing any effort to keep the surviving population safe.

it was some what indestructible.

their punches could destroy it's metalic material.

he'd watched the possessed ones as they were killed while attempting to destroy the wall.

either by burning them alive or the use of heavy fire arms and explosives.

they roared as they were being killed.

night after night.

their cries echoed with the wind.

these creatures were dangerous.

night was coming. captain thomas and the soilders who had accompanied him to secure the outsider was now outside the walls.

these were terrifying times. it had been long since the night walkers showed up at the wall.

news of an angels arrival would surly stir up some confusion.

this outsider was no ordinary person.

he was demanding to be heard and his coming. thomas thought.

ment that evil was within the walls.

he'd seen other creatures.

vampires.

witches.

banshees.

but the angels and their offsprings were another problems entirely.

he was inside the van which would be transporting the outsider into the city.

thomas watched him and he was some what lost in his green eyes. the man had been hand cuffed in his wrists and ankles.

he was chained to the chair he was sitting on.

it was cold.

the van air conditioner was on.

the soilders sat at the opposite chair while the angel was on his own.

they watched him keenly.

even tho he was chained and hand cuffed.

within their minds consciousness.

they were sceard.

these were savage beings who were not easily caught or imprisoned.

to kill one of them would involve a lot of fire power.

some times. they use missiles and rocket launchers.

technology was their greatest weapon against these beings.

the first gate was built with metal.

the machines that made them were in the factories which was before the second gate.

vehicles were used to transfer them to the building area.

the walls proved to be effective in defense.

this was why the general had given the task to house stewart. their building skills were top tier.
