Martin Riley stood by the window, talking on the phone with Marvin Mitchell. "Thanks for letting me know about this. I'll look into that teacher's identity as soon as possible."
Marvin glanced back at Otto, who was happily playing with his father, concern evident in his eyes. "I hope I'm just being paranoid, but we can't take any chances. Daisy Sanchez is too unpredictable; she could do anything."
"Oh, and there's one more thing. Check the kindergarten's surveillance. I saw a car across the street today that seemed suspicious. It wasn't there to pick up kids; it looked like it was waiting for something."
When Marvin had looked over, the car window had immediately rolled up, as if the driver was being cautious. He felt there was a connection but couldn't be sure.
"Alright, I'll investigate it quickly. Thanks for looking after Otto."
"Don't mention it. Otto's adorable. Having him here keeps my dad from nagging me."
