"Hahaha, Vegeta, you have no idea how hilarious your expression just was!"
High above the sky, Goku held his stomach, laughing so hard he was doubling over, while Vegeta carried the giant egg sealing Buu, the veins on his forehead throbbing nonstop.
Ever since he broke free from the petrification, Goku had been laughing at him for it. Naturally, Vegeta couldn't stand it, but Jiren immediately gave him a fierce scolding, beating him verbally until he behaved.
He had to admit—he really had been far too arrogant, which was why he fell for Dabura's trick and almost shattered into pieces.
So even when Goku was mocking him right in his face, he forced himself to hold it in, taking it as a reminder not to make such low-level mistakes again.
Piccolo had already returned. Jiren flew ahead alone. After a short while, the three arrived at Kaito's home.
Eighteen had gone shopping with the two angels, so only Kaito was home today.
Seeing Kaito, Jiren immediately bowed respectfully, keeping his posture extremely low.
Vegeta followed suit, while Goku simply waved at Kaito with a cheerful grin.
"Yo! Kaito! Long time no see!"
Jiren frowned and scolded sharply,
"Goku, you're being disrespectful. You should address him as Dragon God-sama!"
Seeing Jiren angry, Goku immediately shrank his neck and looked at Kaito for help.
Kaito smiled and waved his hand. He understood Goku's personality and naturally didn't care about such things.
The giant egg containing sealed Buu was too large to fit through the door, so Vegeta had left it outside.
Of course, that was nothing difficult for Kaito. With a casual gesture, the egg was transferred directly into the hall.
Goku poked at the egg curiously and asked,
"What is this thing? Looks kinda weird."
Kaito glanced at the energy meter under the egg, which hadn't even filled two bars yet, and said,
"There's a pink chubby guy in there. His name is Buu."
After speaking, Kaito placed his hand on the egg, sending in just a trace of energy.
Yet even that tiny amount—so small Kaito could normally ignore it—made the egg tremble violently, spewing out large amounts of yellow gas.
With a single grasp of his hand, Kaito compressed all the gas in the room into a small cloud, looking much like the Flying Nimbus Goku rode as a child.
The cloud slowly extended limbs, and with a pop it turned into a miniature version of Majin Buu—pink, plump, and looking like a cute moving figurine.
Majin Buu bounced excitedly in place at first, but when he saw the four giants in front of him, he froze.
He looked around—the furniture around him was enormous from his perspective.
Goku crouched down and tugged on the little tail on Buu's head.
"So this is Majin Buu? He's pretty cute!"
Majin Buu angrily slapped Goku's hand away, steam spraying from his forehead as he shouted,
"You're so rude! I'm gonna turn you into a cookie!"
As he spoke, the little tail atop his head shot out a purple beam, about to hit Goku.
Kaito narrowed his eyes, and a golden barrier appeared in front of Goku, blocking Buu's magic beam.
This was the first time Buu had seen someone block his magic beam, and he looked at Kaito curiously.
"And who are you supposed to be?"
Facing Kaito, a strange sense of fear rose uncontrollably in his heart.
Kaito didn't answer. Instead, he snapped his fingers. Before Buu could react, his body instantly returned to its original size.
That alone made Buu's squinted eyes widen. He could feel the terrifying presence of the being before him.
He might look clueless, but that was only an act. Everyone who treated him like an idiot in the anime had already ended up in his stomach.
Kaito didn't stop. He walked straight up to Buu and placed a hand on his belly.
Buu obediently let Kaito knead his stomach. After all, he didn't really feel pain.
Kaito wasn't doing it for any odd reason. He felt a strange connection coming from Buu's body.
He remembered what the Grand Priest had said—Dragon God Salama hadn't been completely erased; part of his flesh had remained.
He was almost certain now that Bibidi had discovered that remnant flesh and used it to create Majin Buu.
While Kaito pondered, the flesh on Buu's body suddenly moved with a will of its own, stretching out several pink tendrils that wrapped around Kaito's arm.
Buu himself looked confused—he hadn't intended to attack.
Kaito remained calm, making no attempt to break free. He could feel that the flesh held no malice toward him; in fact, through the contact, it was conveying an emotion.
It seemed to want to "go home."
Kaito did not rush to reclaim the flesh. He pulled his arm free, then tapped Buu's forehead.
Using the Human Path ability he hadn't used in a long time, he directly pulled a black soul out of Buu.
The soul looked like a skinny version of Buu—this was the original Buu's soul.
Jiren and the others were stunned. No matter how much they trained, they could never learn such a technique.
With the original soul removed, Fat Buu's face now looked unexpectedly gentle.
All the malice in his heart had been completely purified, and his personality was becoming identical to the Grand Supreme Kai he once absorbed.
Kaito shook his arm lightly, and the original Buu's soul dispersed completely, turning into black smoke and vanishing.
Fat Buu's eyes were full of confusion. Kaito looked straight into them, then opened his own eyes slightly, sending a massive surge of mental energy into Buu's mind.
Buu grabbed his head abruptly, groaning in pain.
Kaito watched impassively until the groaning stopped, then said,
"You should remember who you are now."
Fat Buu slowly lifted his head, looking at Kaito in shock.
"I… I'm the Grand Supreme Kai?"
Kaito nodded.
"Seems you've remembered. In that case, I'll be taking back the materials used to make Buu."
After speaking, Kaito placed his hand on Buu's stomach again. Without needing any ability, massive amounts of pink fluid rushed madly along his arm into his body.
The former Fat Buu turned into a chubby, kind-looking giant—the Grand Supreme Kai.
The Grand Supreme Kai swallowed nervously and asked softly,
"Who exactly are you, sir?"
A strange purple gleam flashed through Kaito's eyes as he replied,
"You may call me the Dragon God."
